I have never gave anyone a hard time for not agreeing with me. It would be hard to do because I never take a solid stance on anything UFO related but my own experience. I never said I believe this case is ligit. In fact, since so many believe this is CGI I was hoping someone had a real reason to believe that. That I might learn something on how to detect if something is CGI.

You accused me of living in a fantasy land, in a very condescending way. And did so with a complete lack of understanding of what I was even trying to accomplish. I really wanted you to prove it, instead of using it as a default answer. 

 

Anyhow this is exactly what I’m talking about. These threads always end up with us taking shots at one another. Just makes this place so negative. It’s getting old.

They don't care as long as they can tell you you're wrong. I'm with you on your first sentence there but they'll label you anyway for another 'win'. Whether they know your experience or not. They don't care as long as they have a chance to take those shots.

Certainly. I’ve been labeled among the “dear believers” so many times I lost count. On 99.9% of my discussions here I never express a belief in anything. It’s very odd.

This is true for: religion, politics, sexual preferences, paranormal, sports teams, cars. And a few more I probably forgot.

It's exactly the same as what is recommended to avoid in a bar. People can have very strong opinions as you know.

Of course UM is not a bar, and comments of those types and sensitivities are to be expected.

I have the same difficulty as you, so what I do is simply say my opinion(s) and move-on to a less contentious thread if necessary and I utilize the "Ignore" feature of this engine on those who are (to me) being obviously juvenile, possibly narcissistic, and who have that character defect of always attacking and mocking.

The other thing I do is to also heavily participate in entirety different categories.

Like music, nature and general science posts.

That keeps me busy so I can easily forget the mockery towards my paranormal interests and comments.

Finally, nothing "they" say will change my view and approach, and nothing I say could ever change "theirs", so I don't let it get to me nor do I care.

I just accept all that and navigate accordingly.

He didn’t say that. Just hearing the opinions of low quality, and how this is so easy to do, I wouldn’t mind seeing if that were true. If any of you guys could recreate something similar. I’d be impressed myself. 
 

And if not, maybe playing arm chair critic, especially after no one here has given a solid reason as to why this is CGI, shouldn’t necessarily be taken seriously.

AS USUAL the only account we have is that of the uploader... it's not very good evidence is it!?

Agreed as well. That’s why I’m thankful for my sighting. It was a true gift. I don’t need evidence. I saw the real McCoy. Sure I can’t share that with others in a way that would prove factual. But at least for myself I know. 
 

BTW I don’t know anything about aliens. Don’t know if they exist, don’t know if they if they do exist, have ever visited earth. I’ve never gone there.

Again I have zero reason to believe any sighting is extraterrestrial in nature. 
 

I must have missed that post. The only one I saw was the one where you basically said it looked to real to not be fake. If you could point out the post I’d read it.

What debate? What are you talking about? I wasn’t debating anything. I was curious why others strongly believe what they do about this. 
 

For the group that demands proof and evidence, your opinions all fall short on this one based on your own standards.
