In the U.S. there are lots of people "training" others to do this as well, I have had some of that training and the trick is the perspective of the person giving the healing. If they take credit for it they are not worth a handfull of salt, if they say they are just a conduit and the person recieving the energy is the healer that is Reiki. I have met several people who have found they can scan someone else and identify "hot spots" or "cold spots" that indicate there is a health issue, it isn't much different than dowsing, just using hands instead of rods. We are all more than the sum of our physical parts. But it isn't required that anyone believe anything. We are all here for different reasons. Reiki is fully debunked BS

It then killed him. When I was taking care of my mother when she had cancer I had a few aquaintances, one an ex neighbor, who would contact me and tell me to give her some substance or other that their "patriot/survivalist" friends were selling. All I wanted to do was get her to quit eating so much candy, that may have gone a long way, but it was her body. If there is a cure for cancer it is locked away in some pharmacuetical company's vault. Even so, the human body and mind are not two separate units and any cure of anything has to include the person being cured wanting to be cured at the very least. A lot of research has been done on lifestyle in relation to who gets an ailment and who doesn't, but the mainstream stories we are told are fabricated, like in the olden days eggs and real butter caused high cholesterol and heart attacks. Turns out they don't, but High fructose corn syrup and processed corn in fake "butter" does cause high cholesterol. It is why you don't see margarine in the grocery stores any more, it has names like "I can't believe its not butter" (margarine, fake processed vegetable fat). But no one will acknowledge high fructose corn syrup as being a culprit because too many corporations use it in their popular products. People are lazy zombies waiting for some "authority" to tell them everything. There is a pill for any ailment (and most of them make things worse, not better but people take them anyway). Think what you like. I don’t either, but I did receive a faith healing once. I’m sure it would be dismissed by skeptics as being inauthentic, and I am also sure that it actually did happen. That’s really all I know about it. 1

It amazes me people believe this c---. "The internet" isn't a person, or a company. People put up what they want others to see. Reddit is a good example of that, and there are some websites whose owners only allow certain types of misinformation. Just got to Nextdoor.com and see what people rant about and how nosey and the ASSumptions some people are making about their neighbors. It also shows you what the prevelant fear is in a certain area. 😄 In my neighborhood it is neighbors upset because they see a neighbor (who they make sure to mention is foreign) feeding their dogs food scraps and coyote sightings (due to someone feeding the coyotes), and lots of stray and abandoned dogs and cats. All in all my neighborhood is boring, with only an occassional hostage situation, murder or traffic accident.
