Setton Posted July 10 #1 Share Posted July 10 With the conservatives suffering their worst electoral defeat in history, they're looking for a new leader. And quite predictably, rather than bonding together, they're sniping at each other from the sidelines. While I might not agree with the current incarnation of the Tories, an effective opposition is a cornerstone of our democracy. Something they can't do right now. So who do you think will be the new leader and who would you want it to be?
Setton Posted July 10 Author #2 Share Posted July 10 I'd like to see the Tories move towards the centre again and try to attract a broader range of voters, rather than trying to recapture all the Reform vote. I'd like to see either Cleverly or Tugendhat take over. But out of the names being floated so far I fear a lurch to the right and Braverman is more likely.
