Well sure it can only be scratches from something paranormal supernatural no other way to get a scratch mark none.

That looks pretty gnarly.  Looks like a cat used her to sharpen it's claws or something.

After having heard probably hundreds of such stories over the decade I'll give the paranormal the lead chance in this.

Papameter Reading

75% Paranormal     15% Normal     10% Hoax

Factors: Location's alleged history. Severity of the scratches.

This whole thing about people sometimes being scratched by angry spirits or ghosts is quite a phenomenon.  It’s been reported many times, as I have seen over the years.  On one of these ghost hunting shows, I did see someone claim to get scratched, by saying they feel a burning sensation on the back.  The man lifted up his shirt, and they captured the scratches appearing in real time.  So, what was it?  A hoax?  No one scratched the guy, he was on camera.  The scratch marks were not there before, because he lifted up his shirt and then they began to appear.

If that’s a hoax, it’s a pretty good one, IMO.  If it’s real, and it actually happens from time to time?  I think that is concerning.  If it’s not a hoax, that is pretty solid evidence for some negative paranormal activity, IMO.  Personally, I hope it’s all made up.

That looks like they've been scratching an inflammation with a object. There is too much redness and I see raised blistering similar to poison ivy or insect bites. I also see skin tags indicating something has been rubbing there for quite a while.

The redness and blistering isn't connected by the location and pattern. It was scratched up after the fact.

???  How did you determine that beyond wild conjecture??

40 years of being a volunteer emergency medical technician and seeing that often.

What's your qualifications to diagnose injuries?

And how is it "wild conjecture"?

My claim of 'wild conjecture' was in your claim to know 'WHEN' it happened. The above gives no rationale for that once again!

It's obviously two separate issues. A RN assistant could see that.

Chris Angel, David Copperfield etc do all kinds of stuff "on camera" so that means zip.

I saw a case of scratchs that looked very much like the ones in the pic, the guy said it feels warm and hurt and must have been a ghost from the alleged haunted place he was pumping, later he admitted hoax.

The show you speak of please link to it or post the episode.

And rest easy this stuff is fake.

I'm on the edge of my seat, I really wanna know which ghost hunter show and episode because I wanna watch it myself, don't get me wrong I appreciate you sharing but this is a case where we can see the evidence for ourselves, more than just a second hand story.

If it's not faked could the mind create this injury?

This.  100% this.  It looks exactly what you would get if you lightly scraped poison ivy, stinging nettles and any of hundreds of other similar toxic plant leaves.  (Here in Qld we have the Gympie Suicide tree - look it up. I know that one well as I knelt on a leaf of one several years back.   Cheeeezzzuuuss!!!!  ..and I'm an atheist..)  Also, look carefully at the vertical scratches.  Notice they are mostly curved at roughly the radius of an arm....

Self-inflicted.

It’s there.  It’s between 10 - 30 minutes.  Did you watch the video?
