You know when somebody is drunk and they start off the 'you're drunk' allegations. Oh dear Pellinore, it really is a new low for you.

I know Liebour devotees cannot understand, their blind faith is adorable but logic fails them, or is it just that short term view without the ability to see the longer term strategic issues?

Liebour are killing the NHS, just like the gas and oil industries.

Meanwhile the price of water is going up about 70% in August in London.

Higher unemployment, high immigration, higher living costs... they've hasmd years to plan for day 1 but nothing happened and then Starmer runs away to NATO for champagne.

After 14 years of the Tories, Labour should have sorted this all out in 5 days?

I assumed more asylum seekers arrived under the various Tory govts than have arrived under the new Labour govt. I'm pretty sure I'm right about that.

I'm not the one drunk enough to assume that more asylum seekers had arrived in the UK in the last 14 years than in the 6 days that the present Labour gov't had been in office. I mean, that would be a pretty obvious assumption to any cognitive thinking person.

It was a joke. Thirty posts and you have just realised that the Tory govt have let in more asylum seekers than Labour because they have been in power longer than Labour. Even Cookie would have twigged that if he had been around.

I was quoting you, and your sudden realisation in post #14 that the Tory govt have let in more asylum seekers than Labour because they have been in power longer than Labour. 🤷

All we asked for was a plan. No plan came beyonda few words with a mantra of 'change' but there is no substance,  and then of overwhelming concern, a few words mimicking the likes of the WEF and UN. It is a major concern for any British citizen. I can remember when Liebour was about workers but look how quickly they dropped that.. within hours of gaining power.

Liebour have had 14 years to organise a way forward and all we get is... nothingness, just same old champagne socialism but without a coherent plan.

Just because you can't comprehend those plans and won't stray outside your GB News bubble, doesn't mean they don't exist and haven't been announced.

The people elected this government based on those plans.

Comprehend 'change' as a plan lmao.

Those who can see what is happening know that it was all the Tories downfall by their own hands. Liebour limped into place with no plan, lack of leadership, inexperienced cabinet and are struggling. The Tories had no credibility. No wonder turnout was so low. Is Starmer back from NATO or is he sightseeing now?

There is no plan. Right now the civil service is trying to formulate something for them.

If Starmer can keep moving his lips, they will do the words.

You can keep saying "there is no plan" all you like, doesn't make it true.

If you try really, really hard I'm willing to help with the big words if that's the issue.

You are angry because you realise the public have seen through the Populism that you support. I posted this elsewhere, but it is a summary of why the UK public will never let the crackpot Populists destroy the UK. In any case, Farage will soon tire of being an MP- he is not cut out for public service, only self-service. He will soon get tired of Clacton, and they will soon get tired of him:

Labour have inherited a UK beset with problems: NHS record level waiting lists, prison system jammed, courts crumbling and with waiting lists, schools crumbling and teacher shortages, asylum system overwhelmed, housing shortage, record levels of mortgage payments, borders left open, uncontrolled sewage into the seas, river and lakes, record water bills- there is too much to list. Every part of the UK is falling apart, due to lack of investment- not extra investment, just the normal day-to-day expenses of running a country.

Not due to the Conservative Party- we haven't seen them since Brexit. But due to the Brexiter govt- they not unreasonably decided that, since the public were gullible enough to vote to make themselves poorer and less free, they may just as well rob them of as much taxpayer's money as they could. And that is what they did.

But the UK public aren't fools, and the first chance they had since they saw what Brexit was really about, was to boot the clowns onto oblivion.

Starmer doesn't have to be a superhero, he just has to be honest and law abiding. That in itself is refreshing and will keep him in power for several terms.

pellinore's been on the sauce again everyone.

I'm not angry at anything pellinore, I'm actually p*$$ing myself laughing at clowns like you thinking that I am, whilst making up excuses in your own head about how great the messiah Starmer is because he's scrapped the only deterrent against the boat people (Rwanda), without anything to replace it other than some nonsensical word salad about how they're somehow going to "smash the gangs", so just for you pellinore, here's a brief summary of Labour's first 7 days in office, starting with the 'Starm-ada':

. 62 more migrants arrived yesterday

. Thats 546 so far this week

546 seems less than 200,000 to me, lol! That's probably why the Brexiter Govt didn't invest in schools, they don't want people to be able to count.

Of course 546 is less than 200,000, but multiply that 546 in one week by 52 weeks, then multiply that by 14 years and you're talking about the best part of 400,000.

200,000 seems less than 400,000 to me pellinore, so it seems my ability to be able to count has obviously not been affected by lack of Tory investment in schools.

You may well be right, but what are 'alphabet agencies' and 'shadow wars'? I've never heard of these.

What sort of group uses say … three letters as a collective noun, or two letters and a number. They are found on the word “Agency” or “intelligence”.
A shadow war is the war you have when not having a war, like the Brave Mujahideen against the soulless Soviets.
When both sides are categorically not funded and supported by “the Agency” …
