qxcontinuum Posted July 12 #1 Share Posted July 12 Over two decades ago, after I first landed in Canada, I had a dream. I was sitting in a circle with First Nations people, around a fire on a beach in the dark. An old Indian chief, dressed in a white robe, looked at me and said, "You are welcome here." Since then, whenever I camp on or near native land, I have dreams of animals galloping and running around my tent. I'm an avid camper, and my friends and I, all experienced, often venture deep into the woods on crown land or in parks. We set up our tents near water or deep in the forests. Yet, I never dream of these animals running around me at night unless I'm closer to native land. It happened again last week near the French River. We asked the chief's permission to camp by a lake and set up our tents. All night long, in that semi-conscious but still asleep phase, I heard noises made by animals running around my tent. Sometimes, it even felt like they were shaking the tent. I woke up super tired in the morning and, strangely, found a large old rib bone near my tent that I could swear wasn't there the day before. This would be the 4th such similar event Weird, right? 6
Piney Posted July 12 #2 Share Posted July 12 I have to think on this a while but it's certainly interesting.

Something profound happened to me when I was 17. At that age, I was a different person—careless and indifferent. I would throw small rocks at street cats and kill frogs and fish without a second thought. It's incredible to even think about now, but back then, I felt no awareness or guilt. One night, everything changed. In a semi-conscious dream, my bed was invaded by frogs. They were climbing on me, and I could feel their cold, clammy skin on my face. I woke up abruptly, and from that moment on, I could no longer bring myself to harm frogs. Shortly after, I felt like the old me had disappeared, replaced by a completely new entity. It took months for me to adjust to this new self. Every day was a struggle, filled with panic and anxiety attacks. There were no doctors to turn to for help, and my parents simply told me that I had matured quickly. I disconnected from friends , parties , drink and I was no longer that cool boy I used to be . During this turbulent time, I discovered religion and things i have not paid attention to, before. Trees have started talking to me, the wind was bringing parfumes from afar that i never felt. The sun the sea , the nature had suddenly invaded my senses. I started writing poetry. I began having vivid dreams of demons and angels and started reading the only religious book available to me: the Jehovah's Witnesses' literature. Eventually, I found a Bible and read it from beginning to end. I was ortodox by birth, later Baptized. This journey transformed me. It marked the end of my careless youth and the beginning of a deeper, more conscientious existence, one in which I see God through His creation, nature. Sixteen years ago, I stopped eating meat. I dont kill bugs except mosquitos during camping lol. Fierce dogs don't bark at me, and when I go fishing, my buddies catch nothing while I do (catch and release only). The nightmares have stopped, but I continue to dream of beautiful scenic places I have never seen and find myself involved in fictional stories I could write a book about including being king, involved in shootings , black person hanged due to a love story with a white women, yes sometimes in the morning I tear up emotionally charged by these dreams. There is a physical explanation, but perhaps not entirely. A psychological test performed in my adolescence indicated a very powerful visual memory and unusual brain activity in the part responsible for creativity. I am also a thinker. There were some physical manifestations of the divine in my life, including one instance where I pointed at a tree ornament and asked God to make it explode, as a joke. Adolescence is funny in a way. Thirty minutes later, that ornament was on the floor, crushed. Isn't that amazing? Lately however life and family + hobbies have taken away a lot of my focus on divine (unfortunately) , i ride fast bikes, i camp a lot, i travel work related to Australia , Africa and the UK yet the dreams continue 😀 that's me shortly Edited July 13 by qxcontinuum

Also do you feel more happier in native land rather than your usual dwellings !

The American natives had a close relationship with nature from what I know. Imho, in certain regions amidst nature where there is an abundance of prana/chi, there is a better overlapping with higher astral dimensions. Dreams are also a means of communication by higher entities for guidance purposes. Edited July 13 by Ajay0
Piney Posted July 13 #7 Share Posted July 13 It's sounds like your on the ASD spectrum and your mind "woke up". I have a theory about a biological connection to nature that can be gained or lost. I'm debating starting a thread about it.

I wish I had some positive dreams. It would be a nice break. 🙁 2
