Donald Trump and his allies have spent years amplifying a conspiracy theory that Democratic officials are intentionally letting people into the country illegally to “replace” the voting population.

But lately, the former president has been claiming that the “invasion” is specifically coming after Black Americans.

He now claims that “the Black population is going to die” without his violent immigration agenda in place, pitching his anti-immigration platform as a way to attract Black voters.

“The Black people are going to be decimated by the millions of people that are coming into the country,” he told Bloomberg in an interview published on July 16.

“The Black population in this country is going to die because of what’s happened, what’s going to happen to their jobs — their jobs, their housing, everything,” he said. “I want to stop that. … They’re taking everything.”

I've seen several protests by that community in NYC and Chicago who are saying basically the same thing.  They're furious about the wave of so-called migrants moving in and receiving benefits that were once available to the black community.  Everything from phones to housing to beds at shelters, they're all being taken by the masses of people rolling in without restriction into our major cities.  I doubt he'll chip away much support from the Dems on that group.  They've voted Democrat so long it's become a part of their culture and to vote Republican would make them an outcast.  Let them suffer the consequences...

I believe this is fear mongering and not much more, because the people that are affected by this are economically and finically on par with the immigrants themselves. So, I don't believe for a moment that this is a death sentence for lower class African Americans.

The story should have read:

"Trump spews outrageous hyperbole".  Like any person who has watched him for years could be shocked by that.  My point stands, blacks are protesting that the resources that used to go to them are now going to the millions of newcomers.  That likely won't cause them to vote Trump but it just might cause them to vote Kennedy or maybe, not vote at all.  The boundless, unvetted influx of millions of people into America is going to cause major pain and suffering at some point not too distant.  Those who hate Trump so much that they'll support a Party that is doing that to this country, will deserve what they get when that time comes, whoever they are.

I don't believe that at all, benefits are assigned by a rated level of need. My daughter was disabled, and we collected SSI for her those payments only increased during her lifetime because due to her condition she was the highest priority in the SSI rating system. Those Americans on welfare will not be affected by the immigrants unless they are in a category where they can work and have not been successful in finding work.

This doesn't apply to only Black Americans it also applies to Lower Class White, Hispanic, Asian and any other nationality, so why does Trump only comment on Black Americans???

 The fact that he singled out Blacks specifically is a ploy to gain the Black Votes and nothing else. Frankly if I were a Black American, I would be offended that we were singled out like he has done!

Yea he says what he thinks, the problem is that anyone with half a brain can see the deceptive nature of his comments. I really don’t care who Black voters vote for, my comment was not based upon that. My comment was directed at the way he singled out Blacks over others minorities nation wide that are in the same position that minority Blacks are in.

This is a legitimate fear that black or African American people might have.  According to the 2023 United State Census statistics: Only 13.7% of the U.S. population is black or African American, while 19.5% is Hispanic or Latino (United States Census, 2023).  This obviously does not represent illegal immigration, and the numbers might be higher.  These numbers are for the whole country while black populations are not spread out evenly across the country, illegal immigrants may be centralizing close to black populations.

They aren't? That's hard for me to imagine with such a large black population in our area. Yes, which is why we have a large amount of black friends. I can say that they aren't thrilled with all off the illegal immigrants being brought in. Most of them won't rent houses to illegal immigrants any more because of the destruction.

But , but , this is all just a figure of speech , he doesn't mean it literally . Looking at the article , it looks like he says the banking and finance sectors would put them in chains. Trump does the same type of ****. IMO Trump's black folks comment is another part of the pony show to try and get black voters.

Ironically, I think this would happen the other way.  The conservative democrats of the South were the slave owners, while the liberal republicans of the North were those who freed the slaves.  In a democracy it would make sense that minorities would lose because they have less votes.  It would make more sense to succeed in a liberal republic.
