I potentially see interest in some form of "challenge system" where the candidates have a set number of challenges that they can use, but then it becomes a question of who the fact checker will be, and what standards are used (we've already seen the bias of left wing fact checkers like Snopes).

This challenge system sounds fun. What about if the fact checker is someone selected by the person being challenged. Then if they can’t verify the fact there no bias?

If you pay attention to what Trump says and does, he likes to  "Renegotiate"   contracts he has signed..  He bragged about doing it in business and paying all of his subs less than agreed.  He bragged that it was smart.   Now he wants to renegotiate this debate agreement.  I can see his point, he was up for beating up a feeble old man, but maybe not somebody 20 years younger and energetic.  I think he should be allowed to back out if he wants.  If he does, Kamala should be allowed to call him chicken.

The last debate was not a debate.  Biden was only partially there.  Trump did not answer questions, he made 2 minute rally speeches.  and they were about as truthful as his rally act.  It was infotainment, but no information on Trumps plans or policies.
