It was obviously an attempted joke, but it came across to me as an attempt to derail a thread about Kamala Harris and turn it into another anti-Trump attack vehicle (a very common refrain on this forum, you just need to check the thread about Joe Biden dropping out of the race to see all the people trying to twist it into an anti-Trump attack thread).

Maybe it's just me how I see it but here in America it's a very turbulent election year with lots of twists and turns and pretty much any thread that has to do with said election in any way very well might reach and go out on a limb and mention the candidates involved,
I can't come up with any logical rational reasons why a person would get all freaky weird over it.

I was raised the same way, and I agree that women are to be treated with respect at all times!

Many of the young men we know who are serving their country or have done so do not condone Trump's behavior, his treatment of women or find anything of value in his record or 2025 project. Michelle, unfortunately, that is on Trump. And, you are free to support who you want. Good luck at the polls.

My husband at one time supported Trump in 2016 as did my sons and my dad as you Trump caused them rather quickly to drop away. Back then his treatment of women, his pathological lying and his inciting Jan. 6, the poor sportsmanship is not characteristics they found honorable and these days the convictions and his association with Epstein is unforgivable. Trump is the reason for his downfall not anyone else.

I voted Trump in 2016,but skipped the last vote,and will skip this one also...

Kamala is way to fake...watch the BET awards from a few weeks back,even the black folks in tweets afterward were laughing at her horrific attempt to try and act "street" 😆 

As I've mentioned elsewhere,she better get on live TV when a large viewing audience is expected and show Douglas off to the world proudly,she can't hide him for 4 years!

School campuses are getting close to filling back up,be best for her to get it all out there first,and let the cards fall where they may.
