If Trump wins, will he only be able to serve four years as he has already had a term as President, or would this count as a reset?

Only 4 years,it doesn't reset.

Maybe. But i looked and found it takes 10% of voters to bring up an initiative in Arizona. So with a population of around 7.5 million, that would likely be around 500,000.

Which is sizable. But likely would already be within the roughly 3 million who already always vote Democrat.

People are pretty much already entrenched on Abortion. But, it just might bring up the turnout a few points.

Yes, I think you are right.  I think it would have had more effect when Biden was candidate and people were ambivalent about two old men but wanted to protect their rights.

How does it feel in America that there is already a strong struggle between candidates or is the election just beginning? On the news, Trump keeps blaming Biden and Harris.

Who thinks that he will tell Putin and Zelensky not to fight and the war will magically end and peace will come.

I'm pretty sure that trumps plan will be to negotiate peace by allowing putin to keep some of the territory he has gained.

You can argue whether it is a right for women to control their bodies

I think the argument is they already have control of their own bodies but want the right to have control over another persons body by killing them before they are born.  Personally I'm all for women having the right to murder their unborn children for at least the first trimester of pregnancy.

Its looking more and more like a Harris win in the polls. As long as she doesnt do anything too stupid. And as long as she doesn't presume she's already won, like Hillary did. I think Hillary lost in big part due to her believing her own propoganda that she'd already won.

I think HRC lost because of Comey.

 https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2024/jan/12/donald-trump/trumps-claim-that-millions-of-immigrants-are-signi/

Former President Donald Trump’s final push before the Iowa caucuses came with warnings about an outrageous Democratic scheme to register immigrants in the country illegally to vote.

"That’s why they are allowing these people to come in — people that don’t speak our language — they are signing them up to vote," Trump said Jan. 5 in Sioux Center, Iowa. "And I believe that’s why you are having millions of people pour into our country and it could very well affect the next election. That’s why they are doing it."

 To be fair…

In 2020, federal prosecutors charged 19 people in North Carolina with voter fraud after they cast ballots mostly in the 2016 election. Sixteen people pleaded guilty, mostly to misdemeanors related to voting as a noncitizen. Three cases were dismissed.     (The story didn’t explain who they voted FOR !) :P

That was a big case, but keep in mind that more than 4.5 million people in North Carolina voted in the 2016 presidential election.

An investigation in Georgia found 1,634 noncitizens who attempted to register to vote over 25 years, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said in 2022. Ultimately, no one was registered.

Harris has hit the ground running, talk about feet to the fire and so far she is earning the respect she is getting.  I am amazed at what I hear from many Republican’s how optimistic she is. My best friend knows her well and has hosted a private fund raiser for her too and one of our very own kids from PV (Palos Verdes) CA with the greatest of honor has interned for her and what we are seeing is who she is genuine, she is capable, competent and incredible, but she don’t play. And, it is on her to earn her own votes. And, holy moley you are spot on as long as she doesn’t do anything stupid or take this opportunity as a given or for granted which Hilary did do, she is most likely going to win a shot at being the first woman to lead America. I have friends all over the states, this is a big big deal. A lot of men too support her. I am from a family of Republican’s who are voting for her. I wish her the best, and of course heck, yeah I am voting for her.
It is also cool to hear from other countries and for those who care enough to come on here and root for her, and much gratitude to hearing all the different perspectives even if we disagree.@jmccr8 @Psyche @Grim Reaper 6

Well, Ukraine seems to be taking Russian soil at this point. Maybe a straight trade....
