Are Crop Circles Made by Aliens?

WorldMysteries

Recommended Posts

Crop circles are a fascinating phenomenon, but the truth behind them is less mysterious than it might seem. Contrary to popular belief, they are not created by extraterrestrial beings. Instead, they are large-scale patterns made by humans in fields of crops such as wheat, barley, or canola1. Here’s the backstory:

  1. Origin of Crop Circles:
    • In 1978, two friends named Doug Bower and Dave Chorley, who lived near Winchester, England, decided to create their own faux UFO landing site for a bit of fun.
    • Inspired by earlier reports of UFO landings, they armed themselves with boards, rope, and a twist of wire stuck to a baseball hat brim for siting their patterns.
    • They headed into a field and started creating a masterpiece, but no one noticed initially.
    • Over several years, they continued making crop circles until their designs finally caught the attention of global media.
    • Once the story went viral, UFO enthusiasts flocked to the fields, and Bower and Chorley eventually admitted their hoax.
  2. How Crop Circles Are Made:
    • Crop circle artists still use boards of wood to stomp out patterns.
    • They hide their tracks in existing tractor-tire ruts, making it appear as if the design dropped out of the sky.
    • These patterns can be simple circles or more complex geometric shapes.
  3. Current Views:

In summary, crop circles are intriguing works of landscape art, but their origins lie firmly in human creativity, not extraterrestrial intervention.

As for the discussion topic, my opinion is that some are made by hoaxsters like Doug and Dave and some are made by something else.   The most common ones near an air force base in the UK could be experimental.   Some have been found to have unusual properties that is not present with the ones made by boards and rope.

Has there ever been a video of aliens actually making these crop circles?

I have seen a couple of videos of orbs over the field and when they left the crop circle was there, however I don't know if those videos were cgi or actual orbs.

This makes it a different problem. Aliens or spirits? And you're right, too easy to fake this stuff now. Makes any claim of aliens or the paranormal almost meaningless.

I doubt aliens would travel a billion light years to do etch a sketch 👽.

It's graffiti. They all get drunk on Lunar Lager and dare each other to do stuff.

Then they try to buzz a U.S. military base and crash.

Richard Taylor does a lot of work on crop circles and decoded the best one. binary

They're not done with wood planks they got microwaved. Allegedly they were able to reproduce the exact pattern of "bursted stems" they had in the crop field, alas the maths planning and precision that went into the making is somewhat "supernatural".

I remember from years ago, talk about  (& maybe photos of)  the crop circle material ( grasses ) being overlapped or woven and curved together…not just flattened.   Dunno if that was true…but also remember hearing about leftover evidence  (somehow) of electro Magnetism being involved .    Nature does love patterns…so………. ?     (plus I love electromagnetic, so it must be true;)

I remember that too, as well as cell structures not damages like the fake ones, not broken but bent.

I think the biological anomalies are the strongest evidence that some of these better crop circles are not man made. These anomalies rule out any simple explanations.

Paper

My leading theory comes from channeler of Kryon, Lee Carroll:

(34b) QUESTION: Dear Kryon, I have a question regarding crop circles. We know that some of the crop circles are hoaxes, but many are not, especially the ones that are so mathematically complex that they defy common explanation. The question is, how are these crop circles created, and by whom?

ANSWER: I give you only this for now: (1) Definitely interdimensional. (2) From Humans, but from a different time. (3) The symbology is 12-based math. The messages are to help with peace on Earth. (4) Yes, many are hoaxes.

Your paper link doesn't work.

And it's called a Base 12 system which originated with knuckle bone counting in Africa and isn't more advanced than Base 10.
