Well thanks for the info.  That only makes him 1/3 as big a cheater as Trump. Not much to brag about either way.  Will you vote  against Trump because he is a cheat?

So... we condemn one person for one affair but don't condemn the other one for ... lessee... cheating on three wives, affairs with a porn star and a yearlong affair with another woman while being married to the woman who was having his baby and molesting several others.

And that's all they've got?  Seriously.  It's like one side yelling that a politician got a traffic ticket while pretending the convicted felon that's their own politician is somehow... noble?  Saintly?  Unstained?

This isn't a political thread.  He isn't running for office.  If it is a political thread, the husband of a political candidate cheated on his first wife, and a political candidate banged a porn star while his wife was taking care of a child.  So, I mean, is it a wash?  Or is one worse than the other?

Not a matter of condemning anyone. I don't care which is worse.  The title of this thread is "Kamala Harris' husband", Donald Trump is not relevant to the discussion unless you're trying to take focus away from the thread. 

If that's the way you roll, then so be it, but it'd be nice to have consistency - when anyone (Harris,  Biden,  whoever the dem nominee is now) is mentioned in a Trump- related topic I always see comments that it's a whataboutism and MAGA is trying to deflect from Trump's actions. But when it's about democrats, the rule is suddenly "it's an election surely the opponent is a valid discussion topic". 

Hence my comment on this thread - basically boils down to any excuse to dump on Trump!

It's an election year.  Either candidate will be brought in to either thread.  I have yet to see you complain about Kamala being mentioned in a Trump thread.  If you've complained about Kamala being mentioned in a Trump thread, post it.

In a thread discussion on sunfish, arguably bringing up sharks is irrelevant, especially if it's done to diminish the catch of sunfish in any way (in a thread in the fishing section, arguably anyone who starts talking about sharks is just trying to start a fight or take away from the discussion of sunfish).  As long as people are consistent and we can discuss Kamala Harris next time a Trump thread is started (without being accused of a whataboutism) then that's fine. For some reason any attempt to bring in other politicians into a Trump thread gets dismissed as a whataboutism.
