UN fires 9 staffers over possible roles in Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack

The United Nations said in a press release Monday that its Office of Internal Oversight Services completed its investigation into 19 staff members, finding that evidence it collected indicated that nine of those staffers “may have been involved in the armed attacks” on Oct. 7.

The investigation also found that there was “insufficient” evidence in nine staffers’ cases to connect them with the allegations. It also concluded that there was no evidence in one staffer’s case to support allegations of their involvement.

In those remaining 10 cases, the U.N. said “appropriate measures will be taken in due course.”

Wow … took them 9months to fire people that they probably knew for years were Hamas “affiliated”.

Yea, it really sucks, first members of the media have been implicated and now members of the United Nations who will be implicated next!

Going by what Karl Stefanovic (Aussie reporter) has said … more journalists, the local health care providers and probably the police in Gaza (Karl said every he spoke to knew of and how to access to tunnels under hospitals, and when the usual deniers pop up he says he was there and he saw there).

Thanks for the information, I wasn’t aware of it!

Minor correction - it was Peter, not Karl. Karl’s the giggling idiot we somehow decided should host the Olympics, Peter’s the journalist who has been a foreign correspondent.
