Hamas says commander killed in Lebanon; Israel confirms strike

The IDF and Shin Bet security agency in a statement confirm carrying out the airstrike in the coastal Lebanese city of Sidon that killed al-Hajj.

According to the military and Shin Bet, al-Hajj was responsible for “advancing terror attacks and projectile launches from Lebanon toward Israeli territory.”

Al-Hajj was the commander of Hamas’s military forces in the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near Sidon, and responsible for “recruiting and training terrorists to attack the State of Israel,” the Israeli statement says.

I wish they would consider a cease fire, but I doubt it will occur it seems that all parties involved are resigned to conflict sadly.

There have been peoples and kingdoms making those threats for over 3,000 years and the Jews are still here.  Those who hate them never seem to learn.

No they don’t seem to, but that’s ok because Israel has a final solution for them all sooner or later!

Israel cannot stop fighting Hamas until it is destroyed as a military and political power in Gaza.  ANY ceasefire that leaves Hamas alive in Gaza will mean that every drop of blood shed by Israeli troops was wasted.

Israel tried for many years to find a peaceful means to coexist with Palestinians but October 7th put an end to those illusions.  Most of the Israelis killed that day - from what I've read - were the citizens that had tried the hardest to coexist and to be good neighbors.
