This is a very sad story Docy, it’s obviously they were identical twins and due to some genetic anomalies they didn’t fully separate after fertilization.
+ouija ouija Posted August 9 #3 Share Posted August 9 I'm with you, docy. How can this possibly be considered 'a gift from God'?

"A gift from God" is a phrase of condolence that makes no sense in reality. In fact, it's close to being a sentence substitute. "Only the good die young" is another. pellinore Posted August 9 #8 Share Posted August 9 The gift was she was able to hold them in life: Breana Dell was able to hold her newborn twins, Amelia Jane and Elhora Auri, for just one hour after they were born on Feb. 29 — but every minute was filled with "peace" and "awe," she said. Life is precious, often fleeting, and always too short. 1

It certainly not a gift to lose a child much less two, I have personally experienced the loss of a daughter at home and let me tell you it’s no freakin gift, it’s a horrendous tragedy that will change your life forever and not in a good way!

+Link of Hyrule Posted August 10 #21 Share Posted August 10 It seems the alternative to holding her children for an hour is not holding them and never meeting them at all. I imagine it's a terrible situation for any parent, but I can certainly see why someone would think holding a baby for an hour is a gift when compared to never holding them. The whole story is very sad.
Gromdor Posted August 11 #22 Share Posted August 11 This story reminds me of the click bait articles I see on facebook that they do to generate ad revenue. 2

the13bats Posted August 12 #24 Share Posted August 12 (edited) Cold comfort is something i heard of and was a bit askew on the meaning if this couple some how gets cold comfort ( and i dont want to start and blasphemous rumors ) from believing an unimaginable tragedy is some way a gift from a supreme being more power to them, all the story did for me was hurt and made me sad and cry, i hope i dont get caught or ill have hell to pay a sociopath laying next to you, full of hate, This story, It confirms my belief in pain and and agony i believe in death and disease and torture,, cruelty, anguish, fear, terror, sorrow i know that life is ugly and nasty and vile its a step closer to the edge and a bad dream that has no awakening, but that life.
