I hope this show of force manages to suppress the duration and ferocity of Iran and Hizballah's retaliation, but DC's hesitancy to protect our own troops in the region, sends a signal that there is a lack of will to use those capabilities.  If Israel bows to DC again and limits its response to a meaningless gesture, the proxies will only attack harder in the future.
