Grim Reaper 6 Posted August 27 #1 Share Posted August 27 Australian scientist Vincent Lyne has reignited interest in the decade-old mystery of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, claiming to have identified its final resting place in the southern Indian Ocean. The scientist's theory centers on a 20,000-foot-deep "hole" in the Broken Ridge, an oceanic plateau in the south-eastern Indian Ocean. He argues that the aircraft, which disappeared on March 8, 2014, was deliberately flown into this remote and rugged underwater terrain by its pilot, Zaharie Ahmad Shah. According to Lyne, this site's challenging underwater landscape, characterized by steep ridges and deep ravines, provided the "perfect 'hiding' place" for the aircraft. Ell Posted August 27 #4 Share Posted August 27 Whatever. Any cartography and examination of the ocean and of the ocean floor is worthwhile.
Vox Posted August 29 #5 Share Posted August 29 Sounds like the author identified an outcome and has tried to retrofit a theory. “I don’t care what anyone says, or facts, or proof. All I know is that aeroplane is in that 20,000ft hole dad gammit!” - the dude, possibly.

Earl.Of.Trumps Posted August 31 #7 Share Posted August 31 I've said all along that it was terrorism that was covered up. The reason why the craft was never "found" (it was never lost) is because the bodies tell the sad story as to what exactly happened. very sad case.

Do you really believe that all those countries within range and nobody could see this craft? who is kidding who. they make it sound as though a Mig war jet could come into their airspace without a transponder, and they would go undetected. So, on day one, when they said they lost the craft from radar and they had no idea what happened to it, they LIED. Also, on day one... an email went to the top 100 news casters in China explaining why they did it - to punish China and Malaysia, It's well known who it could be, the Uyghurs, who are the largest minority ethnic group in China's north-western province of Xinjiang. A Chinese official declared that the message was sent out by young trouble-makers, despite not having any evidence to back that statement up. I could go on and on, but all I can say is, if you are really serious about learning, look up the first thread that ran here.
