Mark Zuckerberg has admitted that the Biden administration was 'wrong' to demand Facebook censor what they deemed 'COVID misinformation' during the pandemic.

The Meta CEO said in a letter to the House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan that they'll fight back against any attempts at censorship in the future and also admitted the company had 'demoted' stories about Hunter Biden's laptop. 

He wrote that the White House 'repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn't agree'.

Hunter's laptop is the most damning thing. There have been pols where a lot of people said they wouldn't have voted for Biden if the laptop had come to light. The big guy had to get his cut you see.

I got rid of FB in 2013 after a holiday gathering a few of my great aunts started talking about my business that I had never discussed with them before 😆

You aren't making any sense.  He had to have already been elected to have an administration demand Facebook censor for them so either this happened during Trump's presidency or he was already elected and the censorship would have no effect on his election.

I quit about 6 years ago once I found out any pictures we posted on FB became FB owned.  Screw that.

Besides which, it became a popularity contest on who could get the most likes, I don't have time in my day to be doing that

I still have it as my cousins and the other older generation family members still use it.  The latest generation doesn't seem to use it.

The anti-trump elements in FBI and Justice Department were the ones putting pressure on Facebook.  Remember the 51 "intelligence community" hacks who signed some letter claiming it was Russian disinformation?  What I want to know is who told them that and why they felt compelled to assert the laptop was fake.  That is the real story.

Yeah, Trump's inability to lead and direct his own underlings was/is an issue.  But that doesn't mean Biden or his administration did it.

By that logic, it was Trump's fault that Russia helped him in 2016.

Hah, pot calling kettle.  You realize charges were filed against the Russians that helped Trump in 2016, right?  You did read the Mueller report and paid attention to the various court cases that arose from it?  You aren't really UnEdumaketed, are you?

But to rehash- the "Deep State" isn't Biden either.  And why hasn't the (apparently illegal) Special Counsel that investigated the Laptop issue pressed any charges against these people?

Correct, i have many accounts all maxed out with friends i use it almost solely for promo business and younger people have moved on the things like Instagram even tiktok many youth as in 35 down dont have fb at all,

Ive been on it since it started and never jail or even a warning, but fb has its rules things like threats, or certain vulgar terminology can get jail time, just the way you word something can trigger it.

We don't own fb or this unexplained forum we are guests and as such we abide by the rules or get kicked off, it not hard to grasp.

I find it rather amusing those who proudly declare they don't use Facebook. Like it's in effect some sort of badge of honor. It actually says a lot more about themselves than the social application they're criticizing. 

Facebook was designed and still follows the model of being a social application intended to connect family and friends so they can be updated on each other's activities. 

I see X users all the time say they gave up/haven't used and criticize FB in the same manner like X is a far more superior social application even though they follow completely different business models so I fail to see why there is a comparison being made to begin with.

What's even more bizarre is members of this relatively small forum who have proudly declared this site as the only internet social platform they use to engage socially with other users. You know who you are too. You made these bizarre announcements in the Elon Musk buys Twitter thread.
