Continue lapping it up.  Has it ever occurred to you that people, regardless of their faith, still have to live in this world and that despite Trump's failings, he just might politically represent the lesser of two evils?  Nah, it's just a rhetorical question.  Here's another example from today of what that hate you engage in, is leading to in the real world...

You lot should really learn to relax and pace yourselves.  If he manages to win AND live to take the office, it could cause you to lose it, mentally.

Nah, Trump is too destructive.  I don't want to live in the Putinesque dictatorship Trump fancies he is going to create in the USA.  As an atheist and a Buddhist, I don't like or trust Christian Nationalism; it's ugly and the sign of worse to come if it holds the whip hand.  I regard Christian Nationalism as every bit as foul as militant Islam, and I'd happily go to war against either.  I might be a rich white male, but I don't want to strip other people of things that as citizens of a first world nation, they should have available to them.  When I look at the hypocrisy of Project 2025, and the ongoing con job that is the Trump/Vecna campaign, I've seen the writing on the wall.  We need to save conservative values from this anarcho-totalitarian horror.  If that means voting blue, then so be it.

Sometimes the media is pretty much correct.  Have you forgotten the Jan 6th attempted coup, when rioters wiped their **** on the Capitol building walls and offices. and resulted in multiple deaths?  Have you forgotten how Trump's hopeless mismanagement of COVID killed more Americans than all the recent wars we have been in?    Have you forgotten Trump saying how attractive he finds his daughter, and how much he wants to date her?  Have you forgotten Trump's close personal friendship with Jeffrey Epstein?

Well, you just keep voting blue up there in Chicago so a lot more illegal migrants can call home, and the street gangs keep ruling the city. Keep voting for mayors like Brandon Johnson who negotiate with gangs to be good boys instead of throwing them in jail.

And as for covid, over 99% of people recovered from the virus. But the media only reported the death numbers (1%) to instill fear in the public but failed to report the recoveries. Here are the recoveries/deaths over a 4-year period for the US (2020-2024)

An add too: Trump’s handling of COVID-19 throughout the pandemic was incompetent to say the least. For ex: February 2020, he said that the virus was "a very small number of people who are seriously ill" stating, "It's going to go away. It's going to disappear." By March of 2020, he downplayed the media's role in reporting on the crisis, saying, "The media is trying to play it down. It's a little bit of a hoax. They are trying to scare everybody."
 

He also compared COVID-19 to the flu, Trump said "You know, a lot of people die every year from the flu. But we never turn on the television and say, 'flu deaths,' you know?"
 

It wasn’t until July 2020, he acknowledged the virus's seriousness, stating, "It’s a very serious problem. It’s a bad problem." 
 

I worked in health care for two Dr.’s at the time I saw first hand the devastation and lack of support or help from this guy, he literally made everything way worse. This is his skill set he deny’s and lies” as a strategy as opposed to being proactive and effective, solution oriented. He demonstrates incompetence loud and clear. 
 

Then there is the very big problem of him being a convicted felon.  Who in their right mind would listen to a convicted felon? 😬😰

The media does report Jesus as being evil.  We will happily arrest him, his mother Maria, and his father Jose for crossing the border and seperate him from his family.  There he can join the other children that have just disappeared from the system.

Speaking of eggs, they are now $5.15/doz in my local IGA. They were $3.25 for a while. Around a $1.10 before Biden took over.

Sooo.. Not at Krogers? Kind of sucks that there is court testimony saying how they are gouging the customers.  Combine that with the supply side price fixing that happened: US jury awards $17.7 mln to Kraft, other producers in egg price-fixing case | Reuters and I can totally see why the customers are getting gouged.

It's interesting that the media has gotten people to blame the jacked up prices on Biden when we have these court cases in the background showing how the prices are because of criminal greed.

Well, duh.  Haven't we just established that the media places blame on the politician while the true culprits price fix and price gouge. (at least in this egg case).  

It's why I look to the truth in court filings rather than the media.

Edit to add:  Here's a scary thought- We haven't had bad bird flu yet this year here in Iowa.  If you are paying $5.15 now, brace youself for what you are going to be charged if that happens.

I'm actually from Massachusetts.  Frankly I know plenty of Mexicans, Central Americans and South Americans.  I speak Spanish and Portuguese with reasonable fluency.  I prefer them to some of the Maga PWTs I have met.  After all, illegals are often running from dictatorships and trying to make a dollar, and there isn't anything more American than that.  Trying to establish a dictatorship in the USA, now that I take issue with.

Trump is not to blame for the actual virus, it was his handling of it that caused issues, and he contributed to worsening the situation. For ex: There was a delayed response in addressing the emerging threat, particularly in implementing widespread testing and contact tracing. Trump downplayed the severity of the virus, frequently suggesting it would "disappear" and likening it to the flu, which contributed to a lack of urgency in public health measures. Trump cannot be trusted to have the competence to respond rationally and effectively to a public health crisis, ever!

How many times have we seen those exact same words before?   That is not logic, that is repetition of a talking point. Dude, you are also plugged into your favorite media sources and parroting what they say.  They are doing it for clicks.  They want the money and power you give them.  They are not in it to share truth.  

Look at Reuters or AP or a news aggregator.  You may see things reported that you don't want to see, but at least they don't have talking heads telling you what to think.  You are a grown up, you have been around,  you served your country in the military I think. You are old enough and smart enough not to be hand fed opinions by any infotainer in it for clicks.
