I can"t see a logic here. Is it easier to catch the fish in the river, or catch the fish in the ocean?

please explain this to me? isn't it more likely for aliens to communicate in ways we havent even thought of yet? Like we are searching and scanning all these things, what if they talk via spit or telepatically, or if their ships use a form of communication we cant even fathom? I feel we keep on doing these things but to no avail.

nobody can says that all life worms need water for sure, we are just a spick of dust in the universe, so who are we to tell if other lifeforms are based on something else.

Not the greatest of the comments. There is no linear thinking when it comes to these ideas.

Yes, it is possible that they can communicate with ways we don't know and can't understand and do we won't be able to pick up anything of we haven't got the tools to pick up whatever they are sending us.
