Who were those people? The ancestors of the Indians who crossed Bering Strait in the Ice Age?

Why they were killed?

They weren't killed. It was a cemetery that was used for a long time. They eventually migrated North and probably became the Koens-Crispin Culture.

Not the ancestors of those who crossed the Bering Strait, but their descendants.

 The ancestors of the Indians...

To quote myself.

I want to apologize for using this what I believe is an offensive word. And not using a  word the native American. I guess, it is probably a bad habit.

I should have known better.

So ridiculous…that’s what they are…in our language  Indians. Dunno, maybe, People of the ancient Americas….

Its like us in Australia..they are Aborigines, or they are indigenous Australians, First Nations…or whatever the woke word of today is…

Don't apologize....

We're Indians and not offended by that term. The PC term was pushed on us by White academics.

I remember that guy from the Plastic Shamans site, Alex Carroll or something, always used NDN.

When you pronounce NDN loud as a word, you'll know why.

You know, here in the Europe it existed/exists  a few Hockey clubs which names were type Nottingham Indians, Köln Indians. etc. I don't like the Hockey att all frankly speaking. But, a do remember a campaign or whatever it was, where a those Hockey clubs were forced to change their names. The word Indians in the club titles assumed to be to much ofensive and outdated.

In Dutch we of course don't use "Native American".

Male from India: "Indiër"

Female from India: "Indiaase"

Male Native American: "Indiaan"

Female Native American: "Indiaanse".

I once showed Piney a photo of an ex of mine from Aruba. I once talked about her with some colleges, and said she was a "Indiaanse". "What?" they asked, "Is she from India?"

< sigh >

Morons.
