The Del Oro Theatre in Grass Valley released a statement explaining the decision, noting that the strong reactions from the community prompted the cancellation.

Quote

Due to the strong reactions from our community (for and against the film), and concerns for the well-being of our staff, we will not be playing the film ‘Am I Racist?’ as originally intended,” the theater claimed in a statement on X.

Quote

Please know that it was not our intention to cause such division by playing this film,” it added. “We noticed that many of the theaters in the Sacramento area were booked to play this film and quite frankly the reaction caught us off guard. The safety of our staff is our number one priority.”

The cancel culture seems to have materialized again and cancelled Matt Walsh's fim "Am I racist?" citing safety concerns. This is the latest of Walsh's film where Matt Walsh transforms himself into a certified diversity, equity, and inclusion expert, only to uncover a world where profit, not principle, drives the agenda according to the official trailer.

Official Trailer

Matt Walsh has produced another movie-documentary a few years ago that caused a lot of 'controversy' known as "What is a woman?"

Not that many but there are some who got offended by his movie just like with his last documentary that they wanted to cancel.

Cancel the truth. It's what they do.

No surprise with states like California. People and companies are leaving anyway due to high taxes and stiff regulations.

Because they are exactly what they say they aren't.

I'd be careful. That meme could be considered election interference in the Golden State subject to a substantial fine and a two year incarceration inside Nancy Pelosi's district.

It hasn't succeeded at all. The film and documentary is already a bit hit just as his previous one 'What is a woman'. You don't need to agree in everything Matt Walsh says or with his political views and ideas but his documentaries are hilarious and exposing what needs to be exposed.

Why is the left so violent?

It's more of the radical left that's behind all this. I happen to know many left wing people who are not in agreement with these tactics. Cancelling a documentary because of safety concerns it's a rather ridiculous explanation.

At the beginning of the trailer one of the woman who is featured in the movie says that republicans are Nazis. And then she goes on to make more statements and draw when more conclusions.

Yeah. I read were Newsom wants to outlaw memes. In the meantime, looting and vandalizing property is accepted.

I've notice how white liberals like to think they're the saviors of minorities. But when there are minorities that are conservative.

They get slandered just like any white conservatives by liberals. This proves it's more about politics, not race.

Has anyone watched the movie?

It's not available outside the US yet.  I'll watch it when it gets a streaming release

You may want to take a look at the official trailer to get a favor of what the movie is about. It's just hilarious like the What is a woman movie he made a few years ago. The trailer starts with a woman arguing that republicans are Nazis. There are bits and pieces online it can watch. Usually these are 2-3 minutes videos of the actual documentary.

It's just a new form of the White Man's Burden political/racial philosophy, which Woodrow Wilson was big on in the early 1900s along with just about the entire Democratic party till about the mid 1900s.

Since I know someone will bring this up, "The White Man's Burden" was a poem written by Kipling but the whole purpose of the poem was how imperialism was the white man's burden as all the other races were backwards and primitive to various degrees and did not know how to build a modern civilization and it was up to white people to colonize the other races to teach them how to build a culture, run society, advances in science, ect.  Essentially the whole belief was only white people knew what was best and proper while all other races needed taught and guided by white people and to do their duty to the world white men had to conquer, colonize, and administor the entire world.  You can see arguably a new form of it today with modern Democrats, ironically Democrats were the ones who backed it originally in the early 1900s, with knowing what is best for minorities and any minority who disagrees is a problem that needs dealt with or corrected.

The woman at the very end of this clip is she not the woman from "What is a woman?" who couldn't define what is a woman to Matt? Haha

That movie is one of its kind! You don't really have to be conservative or on the left to see where the problem is. Regardless of political leanings you should be able to spot that there must be something wrong when confusion is created around the definition of what a women is even it if it's made for political and ideological reasons.
