School allows pupil to identify as a WOLF

I wonder what they mean by "officially"?

A British schoolchild has been officially allowed to identify as a wolf, the Mail can reveal.

The secondary-school pupil is said to suffer from 'species dysphoria', which is when someone claims their body belongs to a different species.

Teachers are said to be supporting the youngster.

Growing numbers of schoolchildren are said to be taking on the personalities of creatures including foxes, dragons, birds, snakes, sharks and even dinosaurs.

However, clinical neuropsychologist Dr Tommy MacKay insisted last night: 'There is no such condition in science as 'species dysphoria'. It's not surprising that we are seeing this in an age when many people want to identify as something other than they are.

We had a kid in my school when I was a lad (back when Noah was still learning carpentry)  we called “Raptor boy”, on account of how he walked around like a Jurassic park Raptor.
he’s in a group home now because that’s where he gets the help and support he needs.

The door to this nonsense has been opened, its no surprise we now find someone demanding to be called a wolf.

A dragon identifying as a fox. Or maybe it is "fluid"? Or maybe trans? People identifying as animals is new to me, I am open to education.

Well I would like to think I'm a bit of a fox (jk) but my partner would say I'm a dragon or potentially a female dog take your pick.

Part of society is celebrating mental illness and/or attention seeking.

They are promoting it too, targeting the most impressionable in society, which are the youngsters. You wont to be special sonny, you are now a giraffe, you want to be the centre of attention honey, you are now a man.

Here in Oklahoma we have a State Senator that proposed a bill stating that any "child" attending public school that dresses and identifies as an animal (a "Furry") will be told to return home and change into normal clothing. Should the child refuse, their parents will be called to take them home, should the parents not be available - or refuse - Animal Control will be called to remove the student.

I read a story where a young boy wanted to be a dog. The father said he would have to sleep in the doghouse with their dog and eat dog food. Needless to say, the boy changed his mind. 🐶

I'm glad that help is availble for him and I support such help being available to all who struggle with mental issues.  I contend that demanding that their issues be accepted by everyone is the exact opposite of giving them the care they need :(

Thats the thing now isnt it, cant have one student disrupting the entire class if a child feels they cant go to class unless appearing as and being treated as some non human creature might be a good idea for people to stop making fun and belittling the child making things worse and seek out mental health care professionals that can find the reason for the issues.
