DarkHunter Posted Monday at 08:01 PM #1 Share Posted Monday at 08:01 PM Seems the Israeli military is on the verge of invading southern Lebanon and forcing Hezbollah out of their positions. Besides from the troop build up there are reports of heavy artillery shelling and attack helicopters doing constant attacks with flares lighting up the border. The Lebanese military has already abandoned the border and has with drawn all units at minimum 5 km from the border with Israel if not further. Unofficial reports of Israeli armored units crossing the border have surfaced but no proof presented and a lot of them were taken down within 15 minutes of being posted. It seems Israel is only planning a limited invasion, essentially just going into southern Lebanon, destroying ammo caches, tunnels, rockets, and launch sites Hezbollah uses and pushing Hezbollah out of southern Lebanon. It does seems Hezbollah will be fighting Israel alone as the Lebanese military does not seem interested, Iran potentially losing Hamas and Hezbollah or at minimum having both severely weakened will cause problems for their plans.
DarkHunter Posted Tuesday at 12:16 AM Author #2 Share Posted Tuesday at 12:16 AM Cross border raids being done by the Israeli army have been confirmed but no large scale crossing or holding of territory yet. Hezbollah has said they have fired at Israeli troops on the Israel side of the border. My guess is that Israel won't cross the Lebanese border in force till right before or right as the sun starts to rise.
Claira Posted Tuesday at 01:18 AM #3 Share Posted Tuesday at 01:18 AM Fighting is underway between Israeli troops and Hezbollah fighters along the Israel-Lebanon border. What is yet unclear: How many will fight, how long they will stay there, how many people will be killed and whether the blazing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, after a year of bloodshed, will cross the tipping point into an all-out war. Also unclear is what it will take to secure Israel’s north enough that civilians who have been evacuated from the region for nearly a year can safely return. https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-822644
Claira Posted Tuesday at 12:57 PM #4 Share Posted Tuesday at 12:57 PM The IDF has disclosed that it's special forces have been quietly carrying out small raids in Lebanon since the start of the war. From the article cited below: As the Israel Defense Forces officially launched ground operations in southern Lebanon early this morning, the military is now disclosing that it has already carried out more than 70 small raids with special forces since the beginning of the war, destroying numerous Hezbollah positions, tunnels, and thousands of weapons that would have potentially been used by the terror group to invade Israel. According to the IDF, troops in the raids over past months silently reached around 1,000 Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon, some of them several kilometers from the border fence, including tunnels and bunkers where the terror group stored weapons. The IDF said the sites were located both inside Lebanese villages and in forested areas. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/idf-says-it-carried-out-70-small-special-forces-raids-on-hezbollah-since-war-began-last-year/

This is our chance and I hope we take it. 1

The facts are in the open, the threat is clear to anyone who doesn't hate Israel, and with the election days away, DC cannot try to openly get in the way of Israel's mission. In fact, I think they'd feel compelled to help so as to avoid the really bad media coverage of Israel going it alone and suffering excessive losses. I'm praying for the good guys. Iran is a global threat and the US needs to help set it back as far as possible, and NOW.

Iran is currently the worst global threat and it amazes me that people do not see how 'infiltrated' their countries already are. Look, for example, at how well organized and funded many of the pro-Palestinian protests were (and are) and how well they managed to influence public opinion.
