UM-Bot Posted October 6 #1 Share Posted October 6 Technological alien civilizations could render their own home-worlds uninhabitable within 1,000 years. https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/news/381459/study-aliens-are-also-likely-to-suffer-from-the-effects-of-climate-change 2

jethrofloyd Posted October 6 #3 Share Posted October 6 I wonder if Aliens too suffer from the pandemics as Covid-19? How many doser of COVID-19 vaccine should an alien have? 🙂
MissJatti Posted October 6 #4 Share Posted October 6 (edited) Who is to say, that advanced intelligent beings (if there are any) on other planets, use or get energy in such a way that is detrimental to their planet. Very good point made. And here is a very good question too on how we measure intelligence. How intelligent is to act in ways that are detrimental to our planet and to ourselves. Cho Jinn Posted October 6 #6 Share Posted October 6 ""If a species has opted for equilibrium, has learned to live in harmony with its surroundings, that species and its descendants could survive maybe up to a billion years," said Lingham." Not 0.75 billion years, or 2 billion years? "A" billion years? But what if alien Steve Johnson doesn't quit his job at the alien climate theory factory to join the alien grunge band, and instead develops alien technology to solve the alien climate change, I mean, alien climate catastrophe? I mean, he could, right? Bette give the author more grant money! This study makes Drake equation calculations look turgid. According the study I just conducted sitting here at my desk, alien Superman could likely outrun the alien Flash.
Ell Posted October 6 #7 Share Posted October 6 (edited) We need to create spacesuits for aliens, so that the aliens can survive the effects of climate change! Let's make the alien spacesuits from cardboard! It must include an umbrella! Edited October 6 by Ell

Sooooo many questions......😂
Ell Posted October 9 #10 Share Posted October 9 (edited) This must be why Jupiter is not habitable today! After the aliens destroyed their own world due to climate change, some of them moved to Jupiter and then climate changed Jupiter in turn! I suspect having warts also functions as a causative source of climate change. I have noticed that lots of people have warts. ... If so, it is reasonable to suppose that aliens have warts as well. 😞 We might find fossilized alien warts on Jupiter!
