The latest development comes just days after Sir Keir Starmer travelled to Brussels to kickstart the reset talks with Ursula von der Leyen.

He hopes to overhaul Boris Johnson’s flawed deal in 2020 to allow much smoother trade, improve defence and security relations, tackle crime and immigration together, deal with border hold ups.

However, it is still not clear what the prime minister’s objectives are amid a growing row over whether he should agree to a Youth Mobility Scheme for under-30s.

But experts are now warning that the reality of Brexit is that the UK could soon be crippled by red tape, with the Btom problems being held up as an example of what will go wrong.

Richard Kilpatrick, EU policy expert at EMUK added: “Brexit red tape is having a crippling impact on our economy, especially UK businesses with supply chains that depend on the EU. It is an admission that Brexit isn’t working."

I do like predictions and this time from somebody who has apparently escaped from a sixth form collage.

Here he is trying to spin an argument in favor of the EU catching sand eels in UK waters and ignoring conservation.

If the EU want to do it it must be right.😉

I don't have a Facebook account so haven't followed your link. But I agree, the EU is far from perfect, it is overly bureaucratic, and it is a difficult task trying to work for the benefit of so many different sovereign nations in our continent. But it is our continent, and we should be an active part of it, instead trying to be a global leader striking deals with countries all around the world who have no interest in us and allowing unlimited immigration to them just to do trade.

We have just started to Do Brexit, far from Getting it Done, already trade and other barriers are starting to bite, and the WTO will make sure it does bite. Every country in the world wants to escape WTO rules, but the UK volunteered to adopt them. Madness!
