As of September 30, the FDA has now updated the situation to a class I recall of these eggs. That's extra serious, as it means there "is a reasonable probability that use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death," according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

I already have eaten a lot of eggs. I love them for breakfast and since I usually eat later in the morning I make breakfast sandwiches. I'm glad my state isn't on this list! I don't eat a lot of deli meats but I won't buy Boar's Head if I do.

Well you know what they say, the way to reduce costs is to get rid of all of those pesky regulations and inspections and standards.  Let business regulate itself, they will take care of it they say.

Good thing they were allowed to regulate themselves, huh?
