All American Indian carvers are chainsaw carvers.

I can take you to the Nishnab Reserve and a 10 year old will carve a bear with a 170 right in front of you.

I was raised in a logging-livestock breeding family with a 27 square mile "summer station" in Nebraska, a 300 acre stewardship forest and have been wrangling and logging since I was a teen. I rode and fixed fence, built barns, doctored cows, broke horses and harvested the stewardship forest. I was also a heavy rescue and forest firefighter.

I still logged up until last year in the field with my men since last year even though I could of sat on my ass.

That’s awesome actually. The extent of my outdoor activities were recreational and mostly centered on the ocean. Boating, swimming, deep sea fishing and scuba diving. I probably would hurt myself trying to do something like logging or building barns. Massive respect for the fire fighting 👍

Really, you should see me, it’s what I was born to do. I’m not from this one horse town, I’m from Wollongong, Sydney….OK not as big as NYC but big for Australia

What if our ADHD traits come from Neanderthal genes? Neanderthals were not the brutal violent cavemen as depicted erroneously by Victorians – but were as intelligent, artistic and less aggressive than our predominantly Cro-Magnon ancestors. They were red-haired, fair skinned and were more peaceful. Neanderthals lived in matriarchal small tribes, buried their dead, were artistic and made tools and musical instruments like flutes. In Science, they describe how they matched the modern human genes in the database against a map of those groups of genes known to have been inherited from Neanderthals.
