Keep a eye on "Retraction Watch" for this one.

“Kari Wuhrer, it’s me. No, you don’t know me. You were great in Sliders.  So, what’s up?”

"Yesterday, communicating in dreams seemed like science fiction," said CEO Michael Raduga.

"Tomorrow, it will be so common we won't be able to imagine our lives without this technology. ""This opens the door to countless commercial applications, reshaping how we think about communication and interaction in the dream world."

As things stand, the results of the experiment have yet to be independently verified, but if true the ability to communicate over distances in dreams would certainly be revolutionary.

It's not true.  It's bs.  Interesting...but bs.

Since about 20 years or more we Humans are having trouble communicating in the real world.  😂

"Bob, Dude! ...that hot chick from work on the 2nd floor, the new one, she just filed a complaint against me for sexual harassment and I'm probably going to get fired...man, that was the best dream I ever had..."

While the specific details of the equipment used have not been revealed, the experiment reportedly saw the two participants communicate from separate homes while hooked up to a purpose-built apparatus that included computer servers, wi-fi and some sort of unspecified sensing equipment.

Yeah... okay....

It's bizarre that out of todays two stories, this is the most believable.

If there's any truth to this, I suspect it has more to do with technologically inserting a "dream" into their minds than any kind of communication between dreamers.

Now when multiple friends at once say "Stay out of my dreams!" I can confirm it was indeed me 😂🤞🏻

I am aware of enlightened sages with this sort of capability due to personal experience, and this article now substantiates further this perception of mine.

I checked out the CEO's (Michael Raduga) Twitter account. It looks shady as ****. First off, he put up a lucid dream tutorial (remspace.net) filled w disinformation and false claims "success rate for lucid dreams (1-3 days) 50%". He also assumes lucid dreams and out of body experience's are the same thing. Which will happen if you purchase (sites) dietary pills and books.

Next experiment: Raduga sharing a dream with a person in coma. Or better: a dying person.

I always thought when u had a dream and saw a stranger in it, it was someone else in the world having the same dream but seeing you as the stranger.

I'm assuming some sort of brain-computer interface was used at either end and the message was sent from one computer to another via a wi-fi signal.

It seems to me that, even if one volunteer did receive the message from the other, it would be extremely difficult to actually prove that the message was received through the medium of dreaming, as oppose to through the equipment itself.

If you could enter someone's dreams, it would be priceless. Not sold as snake oil supplement on Twitter (X). Everything about the account looks fake.

How exactly would someone insert a dream into someone's brain?

That's not the way the brain works. In order to insert a dream one would have to know exactly what the mechanism was that allowed for insertion to take place.  And We don't have that kind of technology.

I think there are technologies that can be used to interface with the mind.

I saw some patents recently about frequencies that can be used to send subliminal messages remotely into a persons mind.

Or the neurolink stuff Musk is messing around with...

I guess what I'm suspecting is that there were no shared dreams, merely had the same messaging sent into the minds of two test subjects during a dream state.

It doesn't even have to be so woo-woo in the tech.

It could be just be as simple as playing subtle sounds of wolves howling after the test subjects entered REM sleep. Then they each wake up saying they dreamed about wolves.

I guess I'm always looking for the "man behind the curtain" in these Wizard of Oz type things.

Maybe I'm not understanding the entire premise.

Same faulty assumption basis as employed by 'quantum mechanics' wizards
in proclaimed "Quantum Entanglement' theories.

The Connection is established by the experiment's mechanics and apparatus itself.
The observed 'link' is an artifact of time dependent detection .

Nothing more, unless one considers the human obsevers of the 'experiment'.

Ditch the the hokey gear and glitzy hype, In the unconscious realm of the psyche, soul-to-soul connections are commonplace;

and were recognized as such in earlier, more in-tune-with-nature 'shamanic cultures'.

Today such communication is so rare as to be denied as even possible because we live in an environment of wide spectrum
noise, EM interference, mental and emotional discord,  artificial sleep-wake regimens, drugged awareness, and general cultural confusion,

People used to regularly commune with 'ancestors'.
How did that happen ?

Jung explored this phenomena many times over the course of his life.

This takes me back to the thread about advertisements being put into our dreams.

If that was bs then so is this.

If not adverts are gonna take priority.and i don't wanna spend my whole night dreaming about affordable footwear or pet insurance.

Every night would be a nightmare.
