Reagan' star Dennis Quaid rallies for Trump in Coachella, California: 'Time to pick a side

It amazes me that movie stars and other famous people think we should follow them just because they are famous.   Dennis Quaid is an Actor!   He doesn't know any more about anything than the rest of us.     The zombie apocalypse is in full bloom.  And it is a virus, a virus of the mind spread by media and internet.

"God bless you. God bless America. I'm here today to tell you that it's time to pick a side," Quaid said on stage. "Are we going to be a nation that stands for the Constitution? Or for TikTok? Are we going to be a nation of law and order? Or wide open borders? Which is it? Because it's time to pick a side." -Dennis Quaid.

I can't tell with this line whether or not he is speaking for or against Trump....

Biden signed the Bill to ban TikTok, and Trump didn't Biden just signed a potential TikTok ban into law. Here’s what happens next | CNN Business

Not sure who he is talking about in regards to following the Constitution considering we already took a big dump on parts of it like the emoulments clause and others: An Exit Survey of Trump's Constitutional Misdeeds | Cato Institute

Law and order?  Can't be the felon with 3 criminal cases pending.

Wide open borders?  Can't be the guy that regularly hired illegals.

Fine, pick a side, but Trump's is still definitely the wrong side to pick.

Well consider that one of the candidates is a former real estate salesman who doesn't know anything about how government works or what public service is.

I don't think the people that wrote that article knows what the word "Effectively" means because it is still around.  That whole First ammendment Constitution thing seems to be making both Biden and Trump look silly on the matter.

What is even more funny is that Trump recently joined Tik Tok: Trump joins TikTok, the app he once tried to ban as president | Fox News

If you join something, doesn't that put you on their side?

Those who support Trump might pay attention to that.  He will tell anybody he is in favor of or against anything to get their vote.  How is he going to satisfy the young people he promises to keep Tik Tok  and the adults he promises to end it?

Does this sentiment apply to Democrats:

Quote

“I am very proud to have the support of Taylor Swift. She’s an incredible artist,” Harris said. “I really respect the courage that she has had in her career to stand up for what she believes is right. But we were on different sides of the Super Bowl last year. I am a 49ers fan, but who’s mad at anyone for being loyal to their team?”

You haven't read anything I have posted about politics have you?   This question seems to come from a "butt - hurt" position.   I did not specify a party because there are other famouse people, Taylor Swift is just as wrong as Dennis Quaid. Get over it, both "sides" suck rotten eggs because neither of them represent us, the people.   AND you are still living in the old lie that there are only 2 sides.   Wake Up!

Not to mention it is old news, 4 year old news, and guess what we still have Tik Tok because his "executive" order was not legal so it was ignored.

You don't have to specify a party it's already implied by the topic of Dennis Quaid.

Like all political rallies, the organisers provide transport in and out for the faithful YET conman Trump refused to pay the bus company for bringing them in, consequently the bus company refused to take the Trump supporters home.

Nope, i will defend swift,  go read what the lady said, she only stepped up because typical maga used an AI of her to make it appear she supported trump which upset her as it would anyone, she said she researched who was better for her and she picked harris but didnt tell people to follow that she said go see whose right for you and vote for that person,

If this is what Quaid babbled...

I see the B actor didnt much pick a side himself unless being at a trump rally means he picks trump, i guess being in enemy mine didnt give the real life man the epiphany of the movie character,  too bad.

But no, he wasnt used in some pro harris AI video.

Dolly Parton regularly gives money for things like this too.  Some people just have class.

We need to make lists of those people instead of lists of the famous people we don't like or who do soemthing we disagree with.

https://moneyinc.com/charitable-celebrities/

Oprah Winfrey, Jamie Gertz, Meryl Streep, Mel Gibson, Jerry Seinfeld, Barbara Streisand, Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Victoria Principal, Dan Whitney (aka Larry The Cable Guy), Alec Baldwin,  Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Amy Schumer, Marlo Thomas, Christopher Reeve, Lance Armstrong, George Lucas, Sam Simon, Will Smith, Morgan Freeman,

https://www.forbes.com/sites/andersonantunes/2012/01/11/the-30-most-generous-celebrities/

In this one Jamie Gertz is top of the list followed by Herb Alpert.   Each artlcle lists why the people are on their list, and since I am cynical by nature I suspect a few of them do it for tax write offs.   You can tell by the wording which ones.

That's just it.  These people do it because they are just good people and not for attention.  That's why there aren't publicized lists like this.
