I read they hit Iran missile production pretty hard in the most recent attack, maybe it will make them think twice this time around.

Iran would be smart not to retaliate this time around, as their oil and nuke sites will be next.

It did occur to me that if I were Israel then I would be looking at taking him out ASAP

I know right...

I had read Hamas was considering not announcing their next leader for that exact reason, Israel is getting very good at taking out their top guys.

In his first address after his appointment as new Hezbollah leader, Naim Qassem says he intends to continue the “work program” of his predecessor, Hassan Nasrallah, including its war against Israel. Praising Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack, Qassem says the terror group will continue to support the people of Gaza and “confront the danger Israel poses for the whole region.”

Iran said threatening ‘definitive and painful’ response to Israel before US election

Iran will deliver a “definitive and painful” response to Israel’s recent attack on its territory, likely before the US presidential election on November 5, CNN reports, citing an anonymous senior source.

The source, who has knowledge of deliberations in Iran tells the network: “The response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Zionist regime’s aggression will be definitive and painful.”

Israel has been expecting a potential Iranian response to the strike, itself retaliation for Iran’s Oct. 1 barrage of ballistic missiles on the country. But Iran has so far been seen as seeking to minimize that strike, and it was unclear whether it would attempt a major response.

Israel has warned Tehran that any further attacks on its territory will be met with resolute action.

I read their rockets had been estimated to be knocked down to 20% capacity from what they once were.
