‘I was the director of the Michigan Republican Party. I will vote for Kamala Harris.’

Donald Trump and JD Vance don’t advocate for the values of the Republican Party I once knew.

Rather than promoting trade with the rest of the world, they embrace protectionism and across-the-board tariffs that will make working families pay more for everyday goods. Harris is focused on targeted, strategic tariffs.

Trump has no fiscal discipline. He added $8 trillion to the debt during his first term. Every time he gives a campaign speech he promises a new handout to a different group. I don’t agree with all of Harris’ economic policies, but she is more fiscally disciplined than Trump.

Trump and Vance thrive on xenophobia and blaming immigrants for all of our problems, rather than coming up with sensible, conservative solutions to serious issues like rising housing costs. Though I may disagree with some of her policy solutions, at least Harris is proposing ideas to fix our problems.

Rather than promote a strong Reaganesque foreign policy, Trump and Vance admire dictators and want to abandon Ukraine and our NATO allies.

Trump promised an auto manufacturing boom and failed to deliver. Factories closed under Trump; auto factories are being built under Harris.

Each person you named is mentally unhinged. One of them ate raw bear meat and literally had worms eat a portion of his brain.

Weird flex dude.

Well of course, anyone that doesn't comply with the woke agenda is labeled a buzzword. :w00t:

They have words and actions you can read and see for yourself.

Not one of the examples you gave was very widely liked or respected, long before they went MAGA. It's not like people reacted to their change in politics. They were already pariahs.

Do Democrats have a fancy acronym for the party members that endorsed thier opponents?  Like DINO or something?  Or is there just not enought of them to get their own nickname/label?

I’d say it’s more like , those cabinet members that switched away from Trump have worked closely with Trump, so they know what he’s really about. The other Dems you mentioned haven’t worked with him closely so much yet, give em some time to get to know what Trump is really about and they will jump away too.

"I voted for Nikki Haley in the Feb. 27 primary"

So, he is a "Republican", like Mitt Romney, or Liz Cheney.

I wonder how many of them endorse harris or will vote for her?  I see a few faces on there that I'm sure will never vote for Kamala.

I was going to say something similar, for some reason every one of those he mentioned has come unhinged.

I never thought Musk was a pariah, he has done a lot of good stuff, but he is not mentally balanced.  Maybe the florida man promised him money to further his efforts to get humans to mars, which is his number one priority.

I didn't research it but I thought it very improbably that someone would survive worms in the brain and still be able to function.

They just "cyst up" there, not consume it and it's one of the rarest situations in the world.

I read somewhere that his Starlink program would do really well under Trump. Otherwise Trump tends to give billionaires tax cuts, where Harris Ma want to charge them more in taxes to balance things out.

If only there was a poll for these members:

"Nearly 92% of the initial staff members hired after she took office in January of 2021 have left at some point during her nearly four years as vice president."

At a quick glance I see a few faces on there who are currently MAGA. Ben Carson, Mike Pompeo, Rick Perry, Steven Mnuchin.

What does Trump have to do with the Starlink program?  Isn't it already doing really well?   Trump is not for "the people" he is for "the rich".   I don't think taxes need to be raised on individuals, the tax breaks and loop holes need to be taken away from corporations.
