I agree with you.   I am prepping for not being able to pay my utility bills because no matter who wins as president prices will go up on everything.

Whoever wins one thing is certain the country will be ever more polarized.

I doubt if it will be if Harris is elected.  If Harris is elected the Republican party will start a purge of their more extreme people such as MTG and both side will start working across the aisle more.  If Trump wins that will happen in four years.

Harris was the worst rated VP in history of the poll. She had 92% staff turnover. These traits suggest she'll be very polarizing even within her own party.

You don't have to be clairvoyant to see there will be no revolution. You just have to look at the attendees of a Trump rally.

On a warm enough day those lard deposits would fuse together.

No one expects the Gravy Seals!

I'm not a fan.  Just predicting an overall trend.  If Trump wins there will be four more years of strong division and if Harris wins the republican party will start to remake itself to be more functional.

Good luck with that.

That's an opinion.  Some people are more concerned with policy than personality.  Nobody knows what Harris's real personality or policy is.  She's a chameleon otherwise known as a politician that will take any stance necessary to get votes.

Bro, you've just created a whole thread to discuss the possibility that these *******s will attempt a civil war. They've been calling for one for 4 years, many on this very forum.

That alone shows you how warped these cultists' minds are. They deserve no respect.

I posted an article from the New Yorker Magazine and clearly state I disagree and that there will not be a civil war.  I thought you Englishmen read?  I know a lot of doom and gloom types are interested so I posted something to create a discussion about it.

I don’t know … I think you’ll be correct if this election is entirely fair and no one can make “allegations” like last time.
But if anything hinky happens, anything even vaguely potentially “odd” can be spun from what happens … it’ll be on like Donkey Kong.

If Trump loses do you think he would spin up trouble no matter what the election looks like? My main point being , he's done it before.

I think he’s try, but without “evidence” even his most devout will go “nah, we done lost. Run in 2028!”

Yes.  He will fight to stay out of jail.  He would do anything necessary, even rip the country apart to protect himself.

It won't be these people.  It will be proud Boys and militias,  who will be in the forefront. I wouldn't doubt that some crazies also try to shoot FBI and other government officials.

Right now, Republicans are putting out false polls showing they are winning.  That lie sets the groundwork for Trump supporters calling the election fake.

I believe that was early in the adjustment period , then it stabilized .I believe a large portion of her current staff have supported her and are praising her leadership these days. I'll give the Republican lawmakers credit though , they have been doing what they have to lately to kiss the ring and stick it out to help Republicans try to win. Otherwise i get the feeling they don't care for Trump one bit. And many of them have said so , and where is his previous staff now? Mostly backing Harris? In the earlier stages of the campaign , it was not pretty between the Repub lawmakers and Trump. But when he started winning the primaries , one by one they came kissing the ring.

Oh please.  Civil war my a$$.

And certain states threatened to secede when Obama got re-elected and again when Trump lost. This is just the latest temper tantrum thrown by right wing extremists.

Just like with the Jan 6 insurrectionists, the second it gets real for them and the arrests start and they start getting shot they’re going to start whining like little bitches and crying victim feigning outrage. And once again Trump won’t do a thing for any of these useful idiots.

Magats are the biggest snowflakes.

I predict if trump wins he will pardon all Jan 6 charges.

I have a better theory.  left leaning polls are fixing the polls to lean toward Trump in order to scare more Harrison voters to the polls

God Bless America I can't wait until Wednesday.

Probably Hunter Biden, too.  There will be no civil war, at least in the pew pew sense, and the states are pretty interdependent on resources.  An official, state-sanctioned boycott on anything from another would not likely be supported writ large, or enduring as a practical matter.

Now, will anyone threatening to Move to Canada™ actually do so?  Sadly, of course not.

Here's an example of what happens when you diss the AV guys at your rallies.
