UFO witnesses to testify at congressional hearing on Nov 13th

I fail to see how this is going to get us any further in proving anything.

It won't

It's  just a sap to the tinfoil hatters (many of whom are in Congress - remember, you don't have to have an IQ above 43 to be a US Senator ;)

Gotta love the naysayers that are ready to say "nothing to see here" before hearings even begin and witnesses testify.

Maybe if the claimants bring something substantial, the naysayers will say yay.

Is it important to get the subject matter entered into the Congessional Record?

How many times has it previously been mentioned?

Is there a difference between a congressional record and a presidential record? I know that some presidents have spoken publicly about UFO subjects - eg reagan.

What is Congress?

Is there a significance to the subject being entered into congressional record.

I don't think it's meant to be proven to everyone but I commend their efforts to hold the government accountable and demand transparency. Too bad the legal system isn't enough to override whoever they are trying to get disclosure from. Wish it was.

It's not really their job to convince you. People should get a grip on that hostility toward people for sharing their traumatic experiences for others to learn from.

In this court case however the sensitive evidence is private. Sometimes the people who see it and still choose to ignore everything shown will always disregard even their own eyes if it doesn't fit their paradigm.

I just don't understand obsessive skeptic's beliefs that everyone who saw anything they don't believe should suddenly make it their life's obsession convincing strangers that it was real and producing evidence. Some people share and in this case bring official documented evidence and risk their lives to go to court because they feel people deserve to know, not because it's their job to change how you think.

That’s a reasonable sentiment.  But the one thing I would say is that it makes the, not insignificant, supposition that there is actually something of any substance to disclose.

Then who should they be convincing?  Or are they just playing to the already convinced?

Again we have an instance where a believer feels there is hostility toward them.  I don’t see it, though I understand that having your views challenged can feel like hostility.

If the evidence is private, how are you able to determine what has been ignored, if anything?

I think most skeptics come from a position of wanting to educate, an object seen could be this or that, rather than an alien.

If someone stated they saw a UFO and they believed it was alien in origin, and left it at that, that’s fine.  You may get one or skeptical responses.  The issues arise when the witness challenges the skeptics, instead of simply just saying, you are welcome to your belief and this is mine.

And it's not my feature to take them seriously.   A claimant always bears the burden of proof, like it or not.

I'd take this all a lot more seriously if instead of telling a bunch of rich politicians they were speaking to NASA  ;)

NASA has proven enough it doesn't fall for flim flam men selling fool's gold ;)

It's also notable that whilst the USAF have not offered up any of the many alien spacecraft they have allegedly recovered to NASA to study, nor has NASA, or any other agency involved in space flight or the investigation of life on other worlds, asked to see any of these imaginary craft ;)

Highly laughable when we know all the informations that emerged through FOAI requests...well those informations and documentations are probably fake as well i suppose. Hiding and denying, or leading

to other dead ends regarding this matter have always been the policies in USA and UK...that's not from me, thats history. The Condon report and  the BB Project are clear example of this.

I strongly encourage you to read some articles on the Black Vault

More proved than telling that NASA or USAF made sensible enquiries on the subject before dismissing it...alas this discussion can last very long...

I dont think it has anything to do with ET.  Its all disinformation and fishing for money.

UFOlogy is being used and laughed at at the same time.

I watched the opening statements and about 10 minutes of questions, then my daughter persuaded me to do some gaming so I’ll pick it up later.

I have to say, the witnesses are not as exciting as they were last year and Elizondo lol.  I just have to admire where the others are quite reserved, elizondo’s straight out with, ‘yeah aliens are here’.

I am guessing there’s no evidence involved in any of the testimony?

What is it you think Luis Elizondo has lied about?

Unfortunately, I couldn't pull away from work today to attend but I have a work acquaintance who was there that texted me some comments. Notably, that Elizondo was being slippery with his words again being under oath. He wouldn't provide even the names of who he allegedly had turned his NDA into or the agency he did it for. LOL!!! This clown has no problem making all kinds of claims on podcasts and YT videos but when he's under oath he zips up and pleads the whole "I am not at liberty to disclose that information" line. What an absolute joke. He claims he was the Director? CEO? Head fry cook or whatever at ATTIP. Now he's clamming up about what organization made him sign an NDA. I'll revisit this later when I'm off and can watch the rest of this ****show. Elizondo has me in stitches though.

Shields up Mr. Sulu, full alert...
