Abramelin Posted November 8 #1 Share Posted November 8 Israeli football supporters were attacked physically and with fireworks in the centre of Amsterdam on Thursday night, the city’s police force has confirmed. The violence “exceeded all boundaries”, the police, mayor Femke Halsema and justice department said in a joint statement. “The scale of the incidents, number of victims and arrests is now being assessed.” Police now say 62 people were arrested. Riot police were forced to intervene several times and escort Israeli supporters to their hotels, the statement said. “This outburst of violence towards Israeli supporters is unacceptable and cannot be defended in any way. There is no excuse for the antisemitic behavior exhibited last night by rioters who actively sought out Israeli supporters to attack and assault them.” https://www.dutchnews.nl/2024/11/israeli-fans-were-attacked-amsterdam-police-confirm/
Abramelin Posted November 8 Author #2 Share Posted November 8 German foreign minister says scenes in Amsterdam are ‘deeply shameful’ for Europe German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock voices shock and disgust over scenes out of Amsterdam overnight. “The images out of Amsterdam are awful and deeply shameful for us in Europe,” Baerbock writes in a post on X. “The outbreak of such violence against Jews breaks all boundaries. There is no justification for this.” She stresses that Jews must be able to feel safe in Europe. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/german-foreign-minister-says-scenes-in-amsterdam-are-deeply-shameful-for-europe/
Abramelin Posted November 8 Author #3 Share Posted November 8 At 12:30 there will be a press conference in Amsterdam. But I have already seen videos of what happened in the night. Israeli supporters, were beaten up by Moroccans. First they asked if they were from Israel, and then they were molested.

Claira Posted November 8 #5 Share Posted November 8 Israeli officials are saying that 10 Israelis were injured and 10 were out of contact with their families (there are concerns the missing Israelis have been taken hostage). Hundreds more are reportedly besieged in their hotels, fearing they could be attacked again when trying to reach their flights home. https://www.timesofisrael.com/pogrom-in-amsterdam-as-israeli-soccer-fans-come-under-brutal-assault-by-rioters/ More from Israeli media: Amsterdam mayor says extent of violence against Israeli soccer fans still being ascertained https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-828144 Israel to help citizens leave Amsterdam without passports if necessary https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-828140 2

Claira Posted November 8 #9 Share Posted November 8 'A new Kristallnacht': Jewish, Israeli figures express horror over Amsterdam pogrom Israeli leaders and international Jewish figures have reacted with horror to the scenes of violent antisemitism that unfolded in Amsterdam on Thursday night following a Maccabi TLV-Ajax soccer match. The pogrom against Israeli fans, which resulted in multiple wounded and three missing, is now apparently under control, according to Dutch officials. Yaakov Hagoel, Chairman of the World Zionist Organization, said once again, "we are forced to witness as Jewish blood is once again shed with impunity. "I call, in the strongest and most unequivocal terms, on the leaders of the world: the responsibility for the safety of Jews in your countries is yours alone." https://www.jpost.com/diaspora/article-828131 And this kids, is what happens when extremism is allowed to fester. It's also disconcerting that many of the attackers were able to escape despite the heavy police presence. 1
Claira Posted November 8 #10 Share Posted November 8 The one thing I can say about Israelis is that we act fast. El Al rescue flights have announced they will operate three rescue flights from Amsterdam to Tel Aviv (they've received permission from the Chief Rabbis of Israel to operate on Shabbat). All flights will be free of charge. Phone providers have set up free roaming packages so that the Israelis can stay in touch with their families, and trauma response services have been activated. https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-828149 3

Still Waters Posted November 8 #20 Share Posted November 8 The first flight carrying Israelis from Amsterdam has landed in Israel, according to the Israel Airports Authority. "The plane that arrived in Tel Aviv now has passengers evacuated from Amsterdam," Liza Dvir, spokeswoman for the airport authority told AFP. The Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv earlier advised fans to get on flights back to Israel as quickly as possible. In an update, the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs says no Israelis are now unaccounted for in Amsterdam. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cwyge1587e5t

I absolutely love these Moroccans. ** snip ** You will not read that anywhere, but I heard it on the phone. Live. Abramelin Posted November 8 Author #25 Share Posted November 8 (edited) And the fact that these Moroccans raped an ex of mine doesn't help either. She was a German truck driver, and I met her in Den Bosch. This woman was ... different. She trained and trained, and she became the German national champion of taekwondo. And then she met her rapers years later. She recognized them by their looks and language. Well, to make a long story short, one is still in a wheelchair, and I forgot about the other one.
