She was reassigned.  I don't think this administration has actually fired anyone for anything, no matter how blatant their incompetence or wrongdoing.

Well how bout that. And where does the ideas for the lives threatened and hostile political encounters stem from? Maybe Trump and his accusations about it after the hurricane? Maybe people should wait to get a better picture of what might be happening instead of taking at face value what someone posted in a Fox news article and grabbing pitchforks.

FEMA supervisor who told team to ‘avoid’ homes with Trump signs says she’s a ‘patsy’

Washington told the Washington Examiner that not only did she and her teams canvas houses with Trump signage, “we’ve registered and provided resources to Trump supporters.”

The language in the leaked screenshot was “shorthand,” according to Washington. She explained the full context: Washington let her supervisors “know specific streets we could not do because of hostile political encounters,” and according to communications obtained by the Washington Examiner, she was encouraged and supported in her decision to avoid certain streets “to keep the team safe.”

Washington noted that the next bullet point on the leaked message spoke about de-escalation, which she said was necessary because “FEMA workers were having their lives threatened.”

That puts a different light on it for sure.   I am guilty of my knee jerk reaction and not reading the article.   I should know better than to take the headline at face value.  We all should.

Well considering exactly all who were involved trying to smear it as "Russian misinformation"...it was nice to see ANY publication show just how seedy our government has become.

I've never said everything about Donny was all made up, considering this woman was fired and is now speaking out...I'm willing to let her tell her side of the story.

In the overall sense , it’s like they keep trying to paint FEMA as some kind of left wing supporter or something, just like Trump did. I mean , it’s been an inside secret for years? How many years? In my  experience the election signs  for either side have only been out in any numbers as it was closer to the election, years ago they didn’t even know who was gonna be running , so then years ago , they said , in the years ahead when those Trump signs are out and a disaster hits, avoid those ? Seems to me like they are just trying to justify Trumps accusations.
