Trump lie - o - meter poll

So there has been a lot of back and forth about Trump and lying and things made up in the media or lawfare or whatever and some here make it sound like they actually believe that Trump does not lie and this fascinates me , so for anyone who might want to chime in to this , i am curious of what people actually think . This is supposed to be a poll , and i have never made a poll , so if i royally screw this up , then i will try to remove it. But you guys pretty much know where i stand and that i think he lies a lot and did also lie a lot during his campaign.I tried to add as many answers as i could think to cover more. I tried to add the option that he lies or not but he is innocent of just some of the things he's accused of , but could not fit it in. Any takers?

Sure. That's the way lying about Trump works. At first.

But then the truth gets out. Or better put, the truth gets in. Gets into the heart and souls of everyday people.

The people who are capable of resisting being "taken" (more than once) because of their commitment to living a life of truth, instead of a life of lies.

And it's true. All people lie at some point or another. Because we can't resist sometimes in certain situations. But remember, actions speak louder than words.

What does "a lot" mean? He lies as much as any politician does, in that regard he's no better or worse than Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. So if Harris lies "a lot", so does Trump.  If you don't define Harris' campaign as lying "a lot" then Trump also doesn't either.

Mother Jones is quoting a well known WaPo article. And it's biased as heck. Included in that list of "lies" are things that no reasonable person would ever consider a "lie" - it outlines 19 separate instances where said he received "75 million votes" in 2020, when he only received 74.3 million (oh no's, he rounded up instead of down)... these are the levels of "lies" that the WaPo decided to catalogue. Is there any equivalent article about Joe Biden's lies over the last four years? I've looked, I've found several articles about Biden's lies, but none of them are as exhaustive (and exhausting) as this WaPo article. Most articles only include a single reference where Joe Biden said a lie, and I read the articles and think "geez, I've seen Biden say that speech at least 13 other times, but this article lists it only as a single lie". The "lies" that Trump has been accused of are ridiculous and more often than not don't deserve a reply they are that disingenuous.

I have to totally agree.  It's like he said to black voters in his 2016 campaign - "what have you got to lose by giving me a chance".  No doubt there will be hardcore elements on both sides that stay caught up in the anger but I honestly believe that if the Left in general, gave the guy some public respect, he'd be very likely to bend and compromise more.  I doubt DC bureaucrats and the money on the Left will allow it though.  With them it remains about power and they cannot allow any outsider to succeed where they have obviously failed over the last few decades.  I just hope they don't assassinate the man.
