Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Directly Addresses People Who Voted For Both Her And Trump

This is interesting. And she got more Instagram replies after this one. One person said the responses she got made them want to barf. Sounds like a blue MAGA corporate democrat to me. 😄 Anyway, make of it what you will, but it could give more insight as to why Trump won.

People in her district thinks she fights for the working class and she gets her district results.  Also they think she is not a corrupt  DC insider, which  is true.  They voted for Trump because they think he is also like that, an outsider fighting for the working class. From a person trying to put food on the table that seems reasonable.

She isn't worth too much yet so there must be some truth to that

Cenk Uygur has been saying recently that populism is on the rise with people both on the left and right. And they are finding common ground on some issues, particularly about our corrupt government and their donors involving corporatism.  People are getting sick of it happening behind the scenes of both parties and political elites getting payed off to ignore what the people want. He also said that Trump is a fake populist. His words, not mine. And people like Bernie Sanders are true populists. He never mentions AOC as a populist though, but he has said in the past that both her and Raskin are progressives for the people. I find her to be like Bernie and will tell it straight. Like the way Bernie is now delivering the cold hard facts to the Democrats on why they failed in this election. 😄 He is really p***ing them off right now.

Fake or not who else but Trump have the gonads to take on the CIA, FBI, state lawfare,  Big Media and what all else? And beat the hell out of them. A modern warrior like it or not. They would have run Bernie out of town in a week.

True populist or fake populist it doesn't matter.  Like the war on drugs or the war on terror, the war on elites is designed to be perpetual.

Gonads?  Sounds gender inclusive.

Well you can tell him that.

He is on Facebook you know.

Cenk Uygur | Facebook

People argue with him there all the time. Maybe he will reply to you. You never know.

Good luck! 😄

For however long America lasts. Personally, I don't think we will make it past 2028. :D But at least we had a good run.

Not sure if 2028 will be the end of us,but some serious issues need to start being looked at in a bipartisan way...

Time is running out to keep kicking the can down the road.

Seems like even the MAGA folks think DC is corrupt, but then they think its only Democrats.

Not quite, as Katniss wrote:

:o I'm sorry, gentlemen, I should have been a bit more precise. I wasn't really thinking politically. I was thinking about the planet and the climate. Every year tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, flooding, earthquakes, and it all feels like it's getting worse to me. :( It's just a gut feeling but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

It's definitely getting worse, but I believe we have a few more decades before everything is completely uninhabitable.

That said, holy hell, have you been seeing some of these recent studies on micro plastics being found in damn near everything!... ourselves included.

😲 Completely Uninhabitable! And only in a few more decades? OMG! I thought my future grandchildren would at least be able survive in a cave somewhere, if things got really bad. Well, I guess we better enjoy it while we can. Lord, I'm really depressed now.

- Mental note: Tell kids not to have grandchildren.

I know. I just don't understand how it got into the worlds' underground water supply.

Don't be sorry Lady, nothing to be sorry about.  I think you are correct. I live in the fire zone, others live with tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes.   They do seem a bit worse.  A lot of little things are changing too.  I have been growing a garden for a number of years and I can see the changes over the years.  Summers are hotter and drier.  Some things don't grow as well, and others are doing better.  Hot weather crops that were hard for me like peppers, tomatoes, and eggplants are producing a lot better. Even with water, the summer heat has killed  one of my kiwi vines and a bunch of raspberries and huckleberries. I had to say goodbye to a couple of cedar trees behind my house as the wetlands around the creek dried up.  They faded and died over a several year period as they couldn't get enough water.

But that is a change we can learn to adapt to along with our native plants and animals, It has happened before, the world deals with it.   It will make it easier if we help our kids instead of dumping on them, but they can do it.  Be awesome @Katniss this is something we can help with. Plant some flowers and encourage the pollinators next spring.

Yeah she gave the number 2028,which happens to be the year of the next election,I'm sure she got the confusion lol

Hell man,it used to be the hotter the peppers the more "outside" heat they could stand,I didn't grow nearly as many this past season because the Aug/Sept heatwave of 2023 absolutely annihilated my Reapers and Ghosts.

Things are changing fairly rapidly,I'm not sure there's anything we can really do about it at this point, but we can all still do our part and try.

She's an anomaly. She mingles with her constituents. Unlike most politicians, she is active in community service and frequently participates in local events in her district.

Technically, that shouldn't even be possible.  It shouldn't be capable of transiting the blood-brain barrier. :(
