Claira Posted November 12 #1 Share Posted November 12 Researchers have identified the site of the ancient Battle of al-Qadisiyyah, dating back nearly 1,500 years, using declassified U.S. spy satellite images. A team of archaeologists from Durham University in the U.K. and the University of Al-Qadisiyah in Iraq, led by Dr. William Deadman, a specialist in archaeological remote sensing, made the discovery while conducting a remote sensing survey. The findings were published in the journal Antiquity. https://www.jpost.com/archaeology/archaeology-around-the-world/article-828698 2
