And America helped the Ayatollahs rise to power in Iran - sometimes playing the Great Game means empowering one enemy to fight off another.

Read much more on this fascinating conversation, here.

According to the ancient forecasts provided in the Book of Ezekiel, the Germans embrace Russia in the future, when NATO is dissolved. Why, suggests a betrayal over energy, or a perceived betrayal.

Well we know Tenet media was pushing pro russian propaganda using right wing media influencers for quite some time. And that's just the case we know about. They literally spent MILLIONS doing it.

Interesting. @Unusual Tournament

https://www.newsweek.com/russian-state-tv-airs-melania-trumps-nudes-primetime-1982683

I was wondering what Russia was up to.  Yesterday on Russian State TV they published a congratulation to Trump and a slew of Melania nude and suggestive modeling poses. The hosts were visibly smirking.  It seemed an odd way to honor a new president, very odd and verging on humiliation.  Nothing gets on there without Putin's approval.

One could weave it into your quote.  Putin just put a very public shot across the bow with that televised presentation.  Maybe  he is reminding Trump of who he is NOT sleeping with,  Or maybe the Pee tape, or something worse is real and in any case, Trump better keep his promise.

Side note: Will Elon's bragging about free speech  allow us to see Melania in her glory on X or not?  I'd just as soon not, but hey if it is on prime time Russian TV for 140 million people to see, it must be free speech.

No they didn’t. Either way could just be disinformation OR the start of something we all felt was the case with Trump and his sycophancy

Think this through for a bit.  You are a Russian spy and you help a foreign operative win an election in order for him to help your country.  So is your first move to go to the media and tell them all about it?   ****ing retarded thread.  A bit of critical thinking before posting maybe next time?  Not every tweet is worth posting here.

These nude photos of Melania are clearly meant as a public diss to DJT.

I’m not sure what Trump said to Putin, but my guess is, either it was seen as insulting, or threatening to Putin.

On the other hand, this strengthens DJT’s hand, perception wise, because it forces DJT to retaliate.

My guess is, DJT told Putin to withdraw or win the war.

This also wasn’t just state run TV, this was the number one channel in Russia, in terms of viewership, as I understand it.

Putin is calling the future First Lady, a wh@re, make no mistake. That’s the inference.

Putin is actually suggesting even more, with this inference, but this isn’t the thread for that argument.

Or maybe just the Left using a tired old retread:

https://www.breitbart.com/2024-election/2024/11/12/war-games-trump-return-reveal-radical-lefts-plans-counter-autocratic-threats/

They've been "war-gaming" how to resist a duly-elected POTUS since before he won.  Let the beatings begin ;)

He's not going to be easy to roll into a corner this time around.

That’s bit rude - fact checking only applies to pro-Trump sources and posts!

Putin has personally complimented Trump for being brave and  'manly' for surviving the assassination attempt against him without losing his calm and composure. Trump seems to have a fan in Putin who is known for his love of western cowboy movies and I have seen pictures of him wearing cowboy attire in Russia.

https://www.politico.eu/article/vladimir-putin-manly-donald-trump-us-election/

Very similar to Saddam Hussein who loved western suits , scotch whisky and Frank Sinatra's music. Unfortunately the US-Nato did not try to capitalise diplomatically on SH's west-philia, and lauched an invasion instead which destablised the region and brought about the dreaded ISIS which has become a much bigger problem.

Though pessimistic and skeptical, I am hoping that there will be renewed focus on dialogue between the belligerent blocs.

TASS doesn't tell the truth as we know it, but they tell the world what Putin wants the truth to be.  They would not defy Putin or speak in his opposition.   So if they tell the world that Putin never received a call from Trump telling him to back off, that is the message Putin wants to put forward.  If Patrushev tells the world that Trump owes them a debt, then that is the message Putin wants to put out in the world.

Its interesting that Putin wants to put this story out. What will his next move will be?.  You know by now that truth doesn't matter, its only what people believe and act on that counts. So you have to wonder.  First they congratulate Trump then show and mock nude pictures of Melania.  That doesn't seem like a respectful way to congratulate a new president, and friend of Putin.  Then they say Trump never made the phone call to Putin and further that with this claim of a debt.

So you say that is not logical for a spy chief to do that.   I say maybe Putin is still playing the same game, trying to divide and weaken the US.  What do you think the exposition of election facts (fake or real) by Russia would do to all of the disgruntled Democrats asking them selves how did they lose? Putin gives them the Aha !! moment: the election was rigged.  He is not trying to collect a debt, he is playing the same game he has been playing all along: divide and weaken.

On the world stage, nations deal in power, not friendship.  If President Trump thinks Putin is his friend, or a friend of the US, he is mistaken.

The source is unreliable propaganda.  If it can't be verified on a somewhat neutral source I personally won't bother creating a thread.  I certainly would never do so from a tweet. Anyone can tweet anything.

I totally get that part.  It is propaganda.  Why does somebody lie to you, what is their purpose? Just ignore it you think?  OK.
