But Hunter’s done nothing wrong, it was all Russian disinformation remember?

I do wonder how the usual suspects will excuse it, because mark my words it will be excused if it happens.

OHH I KNOW!

Evil, Literally Hitler is going to go after everyone connected to Biden, so Biden’s just protecting the innocent from the inevitable wrath of Trump!

LOL, you might be right:

“Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter,” Biden said in a statement. “From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.

“Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form.

“Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.”

In his statement, Biden went on to claim that the charges against his son had come about “only after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated them to attack me and oppose my election,” and that the carefully negotiated plea deal had subsequently “unraveled in the court room.”- President Biden on why he did it.

I'd be surprised, shocked even, if he hadn't.  I mean, it isn't like he doesn't lie regularly.  FWIW, I don't really care about his situation with respect to taxes or a lie on an ATF form 4473.  What I WOULD crucify him for is his dealings/shakedown of Ukrainians, Chinese, and who knows who else for cash.  That will never be investigated.  DC always protects their own interests and anyone who thinks Trump can bring a radical change of that situation is just kidding themselves.  His 4 years will be a constant fight against the machine and once he's gone, the downward spiral will rapidly pick up speed.

Of course.  That is going to be the battle cry of the Left.  I just hope it doesn't cause any more unstable types to take action into their own hands.

The excuse is he was going to pardon him the whole time and the decision was made to say otherwise until after the election.

Now that you mention it, there is nothing about a pardon for taking money from Ukraine or for any of that stuff.  Just the gun conviction and the tax conviction.  Also no self pardon or pardon of the other family members. If any of that were true, it would be a much more serious crime and thus in need of a pardon than this piddlely stuff he got convicted for.

Yeah, it's sad.  But the fact of the matter is that Hunter Biden was guilty of his gun charge and his tax charge.

Yeah but these charges were just a consolation prize.  It will be interesting to see what else will be pardoned in the weeks to come.

Wasn't Trump found guilty in court?

Everybody will be pardoned by March. Probably sooner. Can't say I'll be surprised by any of it.

Well, yeah.  It's good to be of the elite class.

FTR, I support him pardoning (day one) every individual who was convicted for their actions on 1/6/21 with the exception of any who physically took part in violent action.  Despite media claims to the contrary, there were very few in that category.  Hundreds were used as political pawns to sell a lying, destructive narrative.  The proof that it worked can be seen here and in other places online.  The idea that a protest that turned into an UNARMED riot that lasted about four hours, could in any way be construed as a true threat against America is ridiculous on its face.  The only reason it gained traction is the media-induced tribalism around Orange Man Bad.

Further, anyone still in jail at this time who have not even gone to trial should be pardoned and immediately released.  They should have the right to sue DC and individuals who conspired to take away their liberty for a political scam.

Not all will be elite. The January 6 crowd is going to walk too. There's going to be an influx of pardons. No need to be upset. We knew it was coming.

Say it ain't so...I remember in some of the threads running up to the election Biden not pardoning Hunter was one of the biggest things proving how sanctified and honest Democrats were compared to Republicans...

Now with this and Kamala trying to grift money after blowing through a record 1.5 billion in just 2 months, maybe people will start paying attention when others say "They are both equally crooked".

 ;)

Meh,I wouldn't worry to much...

As I just previously mentioned,Biden not doing so was already used to try and bash Republicans before the election.

Now that it's over, who really cares.
