Would you want to be the one to start Space War 1? Or very visibly demonstrate that your weapons are powerless against the UAPs?

IMO this is just idiots with drones... If they are spy drones then why are they lit up for all to see? 🤷‍♂️

They just said on our local news that people are reporting seeing drones all over Pennsylvania and other states too. Who knows what they are?

Are you sure they have not tried?  Shooting at them would probably work but wounding civilians in the process would be another nail in the coffin  for the government. If it was flying over your house you probably would not want an F-16 unloading ordinance on a drone. Jammers?  I brought this up once before relating to the  assassination attempt.  Really seems like a very real gap in our defenses.

There are plenty if videos demonstrating what happens when you shoot a LiPo battery.

Companies here in Oz have developed and “lend” to Ukraine weapons designed to take down drones.

Not likely as much of a threat that you think it is. Those drones are local and haven't traveled from a foreign country. More likely they are being used by your own people like drug dealers or even law enforcement to spy on your own people

The drones are heading to DC. There's a bigger report than this on tonight's broadcast right now. The Senate is being briefed. The mayors of 21 New Jersey towns have written a letter to Governor Murphy demanding action. The New Jersey State Police and the Office of Homeland Security have announced a briefing to be held only for mayors.

New Jersey state senator calls for 'limited state of emergency' over drone sightings - 6abc Philadelphia

"The State of New Jersey should issue a limited state of emergency banning all drones until the public receives an explanation regarding these multiple sightings," Republican state Sen. Jon Bramnick said in a statement Tuesday.

The call came amid numerous recent drone sightings reported across New Jersey in recent weeks, including the Philadelphia region.

Numerous reports were sent to Action News about flying objects in Media and Broomall in Delaware County, as well as in Philadelphia's Mayfair section and in Cherry Hill, Camden County.

"This is something that DHS and FBI are tracking very, very closely. And so, I would have to refer you to, to them directly, but aware, keeping an eye out and looking into the incidents that you just mentioned," said press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday.

The Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey -- a military research and production facility in Morris County -- has reported 11 confirmed sightings by a police officer or security guard in response to a report since Nov. 13.

I feel rather confident to say "No" to that one, if it was a mass project of a group (a very LARGE group) of teens with a metric shittonne of drones someone involved by now would be Tikking their Toks all over the place bragging.
In fact "it was dip**** teenagers" is usually the "go to" answer trotted out by the government, and they've studiously avoided using such explanations.

Why yes, totally trustworthy source there. 
The military says nothing to do with them, honest, and we are expected to believe them based solely on their words (I am inclined to believe them based on their actions if they genuinely are scrambling helicopters and jets to intercept these things).
