I'm not entirely opposed to this (McDonalds research). Let me dream about the McRib all night.

If I have to dream about adds I will end up in an insane asylum. The repetitive crap is insane enough. If I get a repetitive annoying add I refuse to buy the product or survive. I am sure I am not alone in this. They need to learn harassment isn't how you gain customers.

A disturbing new trend has seen an increasing number of companies experiment with 'dream advertising'.

Oh great now when I am sleeping more stupid dreams. My stupid dreams are dumb, either back in school or working which is impossible because I am happily retired.

It is brainwashing to buy buy buy but now people have less $$$  They gotta talk to the rich people.

Don't worry...the only advertisements focused on the retired class are hearing aids and chairs that stand you up.  Be careful what you watch thoughthough, otherwise you might start dreaming about Joe Namath?😁

Seems a bit absurd that there are companies that would choose to spend hard-earned cash on something that will reach almost no one. Do people even watch / see adverts any more? I do not recall seeing a single ad in at least a year, not on forums, not on news pages or even youtube (except those very rare spoken interruptions by the presenters themselves, that I skip instanty), or anywhere online for that matter. Not one.

Same goes for real world. I suppose I might've seen a few billboards, but I do not recall what they may have been, maybe some mobile companies, but certainly not something that would've made me buy something I wouldn't otherwise. No ads in my life, or anyone I know.

I would find it hard to imagine that most people are not already blocking 99.9% or adverts in their lives. I mean, who would opt to watch them? Everybody knows they're all lies and exaggerations. I don't think they even work, it's just that companies still haven't caught up to the fact that no one watches ads any more. They think it's still the naughties. Ads seem nothing mor ethan a senseless waste of money that would be better spent on product development.

I was thinking Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

But either one would be better than my recurring dream about going to school in my pajamas.

I’m waiting for Elon Musk to string a line of laser-equipped Starlink satellites around the moon so we can see laser-show Tesla Motors advertising during the full moon.
Or better yet, Doritos advertisements.  😃

So like I'm having a dream, being chased by a pride of lions, I was running has fast has I could. Then all of a sudden I get an add about 'Nike running trainers'..... I hope there is a skip ad function!!
