Cool coincidences

I had a couple of good coincidences yesterday. We had a big storm here in the UK in Friday so I took the afternoon off as the power was out. The next day I went to work to catch up on stuff and while I was driving I saw a fish delivery van with 'Danny Wilson' on the side of it. I remembered that was the name of a band back in the 80s who had a really good song but I couldn't think what it was called. I was going to Google it but forgot. Soon after I went into a supermarket and there was music playing as usual. The next song that came on was 'Mary's Prayer' by....yep...Danny Wilson. I haven't heard that song for a long time. I kind of froze for a second then thought ..ah yeah that's the one I was thinking of! 

The second coincidence was when I got home from work the power was back on but the clocks were needing to be reset on the oven & microwave. I decided to do the oven first as it's a bit tricky. You have to set the correct mode then hold your finger down while the time fast forwards from 00.00. I left my finger on the button then looked away at my phone to check the correct time which was 3:17. I took my finger off the button while still looking at the phone screen and turned to look at the oven to adjust the time correctly. I didn't need to as it had stopped at exactly 3:17.

Obviously just coincidences but I love those sort of occurrences!

Thanks, yeah 'synchronicities' is a good word to describe them. I've had quite a few over the years but probably forgotten most of them. I get precognitive dreams sometimes too. My daughter is also starting to get them. She told me the other day that she dreamed she was locked in the science lab at school and couldn't get out. The next day at school the teacher said she had missed a science test but if she went to the science lab she could take it there to catch up as it wasn't being used at that time. Sure enough she ended up in the science lab and at the end of the test she went to leave but couldn't get out as the door was locked. Could just be another coincidence but pretty freaky nonetheless.

Update - another cool coincidence.

I was preparing a recipe that required 225ml of water. I took a measuring jug and put it under the water tap and let it run to adjust as required. I turned the tap off and checked the level. Exactly 225ml. Woo!
