There seems to be many interesting high resolution images coming from Mars that look creepy. This is one. I thought this subject could do with its own thread

How is it garbage if it is the original?

You are the one posting altered material.

If you think posting original material is against the rules, report it to @Saru.  Otherwise, I'll post what I deem to be relevant.

I have no idea what you find creepy in these images?  I see natural formations, sand dunes, ridgelines and mesas.

This is a well known psychological phenomenon called pareidolia. In this case its a mimetolithic pattern... a pattern created by rocks that may come to mimic recognizable forms through the random processes of formation, weathering and erosion.

The human brain loves seeing patterns, even when they arent really there.

Some good exampels of this would be seeing animals, faces, and other objects in cloud patterns or the face of the Virgin Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich.

Why are you being such a tool?  At the point that you posted this you had essentially been talking to yourself.  This is a discussion forum.

He's posted the same image as you have, except in a much higher resolution and from an authoritative source.

I would think it essential to have access to the original image if there is to be any serious effort to analyze these alleged anomalies.

😂 yeah much much higher resolution. The image he posted has no relevance since it doesn’t show any detail. Walk up to the Great Wall of China, stick your camera right up to the brickwork and take a photo of the mortar between the bricks and try discerning what the structure is. Same effect.

Of course you have ‘no idea’ I’d be amazed if you did lol.

They look like right angles to me. They look like right angles to most people. It’s not figment of the imagination if everyone is seeing the same thing. Whether it’s a natural formation or not,?it looks suspiciously similar to right angle wall structure

Looks like you’ve dodged this bullet with your photo of what looks to me like a covid cell under a microscope.

I once posted the same image. But it was lots sharper. I also found out that that 'squarish' formation had been altered.

With a bit of luck I can find it again.

Would be ironic wouldn't it if mankind originated on Mars and fled to earth when they destroyed the environment..  Just kidding.

Look I’m not saying it’s an ancient Cosco building on Mars. The friggen thing has square lines. And I have read the article about it being squarish also and it was countered with an angular photo that has since been corrected

It sounds like you spent about two seconds looking at the page.

The image is the thin black and white strip - clicking it gives you a full-size, scrollable, zoomable image.

( @Abramelin posted the same thing above ).

Thats exactly what pareidolia is.  A brain phenomenon in which a person sees or hears something significant in a random image or pattern.

The Red Planet has long tricked human minds into seeing signs of life that aren't there.

NASA's Viking 1 Orbiter spacecraft photographed this region in the northern latitudes of Mars on July 25, 1976 while searching for a landing site for the Viking 2 Lander.

NASA'S Mars Exploration Rover Spirit captured this westward view from atop a low plateau where Spirit spent the closing months of 2007.

Did NASA find a mysterious doorway on Mars?

Did NASA find a mysterious doorway on Mars? No, but that's no reason to stop looking

Large worms found on Mars?

Looking at Mars - Techgnosis

Nope - Pareidolia.
