That's not something you see everyday! Maybe she had something trapped in her hair that the fish thought was food, in which case she's lucky it wasn't a shark. The encounter hasn't put her off going back in but if it were me I'd rather they moved the fish out first!

The title doesn't just say Mermaid, but 'Mermaid'.

Echoing what @Abramelin said above - the title has the word 'mermaid' in inverted commas to make it clear that it is not referencing a literal mermaid.

When I first read the title, I was thinking something in the way of cryptid.. be it fake, hoax etc.. not someone dressed up for a show.
