pellinore Posted February 7 #1 Share Posted February 7 (edited) Ukrainian forces have advanced up to five kilometres behind Russian lines in a fresh assault on the Kursk border region, footage suggests. Kyiv’s troops launched a counter-attack against Russian forces in the region at the start of the year, with hundreds of soldiers and dozens of armoured vehicles advancing on enemy lines south east of Sudzha. Now, geolocated combat footage has shown that Ukraine’s forces are operating further behind enemy lines than previously known. Ukraine first launched its surprise invasion of the Russian border region in August last year, seizing around 500 square miles of Russian territory.
