Romanian Navy firing from a docked vessel? 🚨🚩

The object remained in the area for hours but only a brief volley was recorded or observed?🚨🚩

No additional assets were deployed to intercept and object which allegedly hovered in the same area for hours???? 🚨🚩

There is no corresponding news reports or additional footage of this alleged incident??? 🚨🚩

Seems like another tall tale to me. Made up crap that UFOlogy and media snoballed over the years. Like all the other ones we have disected here at UM over the years.

No navy on Earth sucks that bad. 😄

Even the Vatican Navy could have hit that thing.

I'm just surprised there's no news reports corresponding to a naval ship firing in sovereign waters at an unknown target.

Reminds me of the Battle of LA from back in 1942 ... when they started blasting the sky over Los Angeles thinking they were being invaded by Japan.

Yes, that is about the size of it.

The terms "flying saucer" and later, UFO had been coined yet so the public had no way to describe what they were seeing.
3 months earlier, the Japanese bombed US ships at Pearl Harbor, so it was a no-brainer to think this was an attack by the Japanese.

Great story

War nerves... and a "creative" editor at the Los Angeles Times was all it took to make this event into one of UFOlogys greatest hits.

1 million eyewitnesses. the greatest skeptic application of "everyone lied" I ever saw.

Also, 17 years later, the US military declared the object to be a weather balloon. Did they lie too?

Whatever they started shooting at, nothing points to it being a spaceships from another planet.

If you think otherwise, lets hear your case.

Maybe you can start a new thread, so that we dont derail this one?

I do feel otherwise, of course, but I don't feel like getting into it for the umpteenth time, knowing what results will be anyway

The original article clearly states the Romanian navy was shooting at the orb while it was stationary for several hours. The question - was the Romanian navy inept or was the orb just unable to be shot down. Assuming it wasn’t a ball of light what possible explanation would you suggest?

is it official it's the Romanian navy shooting at something unknown? Or is it just you believing what you're told via a video header because it's what you want to hear?

Dude 😄 that is far from established!!

You have chosen to believe in some UFO BS post on X... Is literally nowhere else!

If this "shooting for hours" happened at all, it was most likely an exercise that happened to have a couple of lights in the sky at the same time... from the cameras pov.

I haven’t chosen to believe in anything. Show me where I have?

*snip* How about you provide a source for ‘happened to be a couple of lights … and the camera position’?

Still no major news reports to corroborate there's an alien craft being fired at. Unless I missed something, this was likely a night fire mission for the crew. Sorry folks.
