Woman died but was sent back to deliver an urgent message.

It was while in the (air ambulance) helicopter that, she claims, she went to heaven, where she was faced with a life and death decision.

Talking exclusively to the Daily Mail, she describes how the sun was rising, and as it hit her face, she closed her eyes.

'Then I woke up and I was on the other side,' she says. 'It was that quick.'

The Canadian-based psychic recounts her story in her book At The Stroke of Eternity, describing how one minute she was in the helicopter, slipping out of consciousness, before being instantly transported to a beautiful garden, surrounded by flowers, a gazebo, and all her loved ones.

Even her pets - both past and present - were there to greet her, she claims.

I died and was sent back to deliver an urgent message. Here's what heaven looks like... and the daunting decision I had to make before I returned | Daily Mail Online

'There is no judgment,' she reports. 'No reward. No punishment. No "You should have done this." Or "You should have done that" Nothing like that at all. Not even a hint.

'Pass/fail and reward/punishment are a human construct. It doesn't belong to your soul.

'Everything is fully accepted, and we just learn from it and try to understand and grow and be loving about everything we've ever done.'

The afterlife she describes in my opinion is the same as the dream state: a representation of her own mind. This then is a testimony to the condition and functioning of the mind and as such valueable knowledge.

Her present pets were in Heaven? There's a lot in the story that doesn't track, but how and why would her present, presumably still alive pet(s), end up in her afterlife? Or was it a pleasant dream?

Also, what was the urgent message?

Regardless of it being a true vision or not it's comforting to think that when you die you may experience something like that.

I have long suspected that those that return from what normally should be death come back with a purpose. Hers is to share the message of what she saw and experienced including people like us hearing about it right now in this era of much scientific arrogance. The higher beings get involved in special cases. Hearing about NDEs has been a tremendous positive influence on my life and I am very thankful these people chose to come back.

I think it's also important for us logical thinkers to hear of her verifiable details like knowing about family packing, fast food stops and such where she was not physically present. This is not a one-off story, but a repeating pattern in NDE cases.

Assuming her "present pets" are alive, why are they in Heaven? My confusion is about heaven being reserved for dead critters

I read very carefully. If you find comfort in the dreams of others, good for you. I prefer reality.

It is something people hope for, it is how some religions make money, selling this idea.   many people who claim to be psychic have claimed to have this kind of experience and make lots of money selling it as well.   Because of our fear of death and the possibility of of ceasing to exist it is easy to sell this kind of stuff.

If you are on the verge of death and you see and feel yourself in some comforting situation such as being in a beautiful garden with your loved ones what difference does it make if it's real or a dream/hallucination?

It only makes a difference if you are selling the story.

Not to me. Regardless of this story or this woman monetizing it I still think it would be a comforting hallucination to have.

I agree with that but it is personal and it bothers me when people try to make their personal experiences global.

All these stories tend to mirror religiously accepted beliefs. Hell is always like in the books. My best guess is that the near death dream is just a reflection of a person afterlife beliefs. Nothing more.

Side point, but I believe physically living pets can appear in an astral form (OBE).

People like me want to hear their personal honest experiences as it helps me to understand more about life. And I believe 98% are being honest.

You’re going to be first on line for the book aren’t you? And I bet you pay extra for the autographed edition.

It's a Biblical message about receiving your hearts desire. Her present pets being there indicates a passage through time in her journey there, our now is not the same time as her then.

Actually, I don't plan to think about this particular case further after this discussion as it follows a pattern I have heard many times before. It's filed for free in my brain as another case in the accumulation that affects my view on reality.
