Trump attacks Schumer as ‘not Jewish anymore’ and says he’s ‘Palestinian’ now

Musk can blame ketamine for his bizarre behavior, what excuse does Trump have? There has to be some constitutional mechanism for getting him removed for psychiatric assessment before he destroys the US.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday launched into a bizarre attack on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer — the highest-ranking Jewish person in the American government — by inexplicably claiming that the New York Democrat was no longer Jewish during a marathon media availability alongside Irish Taoiseach Micheal Martin.

Trump was speaking to reporters in the Oval Office about his plans for tax cuts when he suddenly pivoted to recounting how, in his view, Democrats hadn’t stood and applauded sufficiently at different parts of the speech he delivered to a joint session of Congress last week.

“And Schumer is a Palestinian, as far as I'm concerned. You know, he's become a Palestinian. He used to be Jewish. He's not Jewish anymore. He's a Palestinian,” he said before complaining about a question from a NBC correspondent and continuing with his meandering remarks.

Schumer is a schmuck and has recently been - like much of his Party - anti-Israel and even supportive of obviously anti-Semitic people.  His "Jewishness" isn't the issue.  His treatment of our best ally is the issue.  I was encouraged to see that at least a slightly higher percentage of US Jews changed their rock-solid support of Democrats in the last election.  The party on the Left was working openly against the Jewish state for the past year, and had someone in that administration not held the line, I think they'd have pulled the plug on Israel altogether.  If that someone was Joe Biden, then I thank him for it.

I get that the attack on Israel was some serious **** , and not a good thing , and all that , but i think what some were seeming anti Israel is because they were questioning the mass attacks on the Palestinians and the large amount of civilians that were killed in a lot of blanket bombing and other situations. I'm sure the Palestinians are no angels in this , but when Israel snapped after the attack , it was extreme ( as was the attack on Israel), and some questioned how widespread and severe it was amongst the civilians. After all that , Hamas is still alive and functioning over there while much of Gaza is leveled and so many killed. It may seem justified , but it breeds a whole lot more hatred towards Isreal amongst many in the middle east in the long run. Just sayin.

The death toll of unarmed Gazans is terrible, especially the children, but Israel has been positioned such that they can kill Hamas fighters only if they're willing to see dead civilians as well.  It's difficult for a rational, compassionate human being to even entertain the idea of people being so evil that they intentionally cause the death of innocents but that is the reality on the ground and has been for at least the last couple of decades.  If Israel refrained from striking targets held by Hamas, until all civilians were safe then Israel would basically have to surrender to Hamas.

For many years we've seen Israel and Hamas flare up and then be pushed into ceasefire because the world raises hell about dead Gazans.  Hamas may have actually thought that would happen again after 10/7 but anyone who has watched the history of this conflict knew - instinctively - that those days of "mowing the grass" ENDED on October 7th of 2023.  The leverage Hamas had enjoyed for many years disappeared because Israelis, even those on the hard Left, finally were forced to wake up to the sheer evil that they face and then deal with it.  The world is full of those who hate Jews and their nation state and Israel always practiced self-restraint to keep that hate to a minimum.  10/7 ended that situation.  If the IDF has to go back in, they've already said it is going to be unlike anything that came before.

Schumer is a putz, whose mother may have been a shiksa.  The political position he schleps are not kosher.  He's previously be called a schmuck.  That might be all of my Yiddish insults.
